A new Resident Evil 2 remake mod adds fixed camera angles to make it resemble the original 1998 release. Created by AlphaZomega on Nexus Mods, it adds a new feel and a dose of nostalgia to the critically acclaimed remake. Options to auto-aim weapons and add laser sights to all the guns are also available to make gameplay smoother. YouTuber Residence of Evil has taken a deep look into the mod and tested it in a new video.
The creator has provided detailed options to customize the mod in many ways, so tweaking the settings will be quite easy. You can also make cameras turn and follow your movements. There is a camera editor for those who want to tweak it further to their liking. Additionally, expect various movement options and visual changes.
A Fixed Camera Was The Only Missing Ingredient In Resident Evil 2 Remake
The new mod brings a much-needed addition to the Resident Evil 2 remake. Despite the excellent gameplay of the remake, the contrast was palpable from the 1998 release in my opinion. But the mod completely changes that by adding the fixed nostalgic camera perspective. It also injects a new approach to the game’s exploration. You need to keep your eyes peeled while walking into a new angle to ensure nothing goes unnoticed.
