The Fallout 76 Nuclear Winter Mode was announced last year. The mode is still alive and well, even though most players complain that it’s filled with AFK players and hackers. Most players are AFK because it’s easier to earn XP that way, and you can rank up without making much of an effort.
In case you don’t know much about the mode. Well, it’s the third mode alongside Survival and Adventure. Further, it is a straight battle royale mode with quite a weird name. You will drop in a 52 player chaos with nothing. Afterward, you can start looting, build up your gears, customize guns, and go for some fights.
Like all other Battle Royale games, this one is no different. The last player to stay alive wins it. Besides, he also gets Overseer XP, ultimately leveling up to unlock new content.

Level 1: Vault 51 Jumpsuit
At Level 51, you will get the Vault 51 Jumpsuit. The jumpsuit is similar to that of the Vault 71 jumpsuit, except you can’t change its stats. It’s also the default jumpsuit that everyone gets once they start Nuclear Winter.
Level 5: Small Nuclear Winter Stash Box
Upon reaching level 5, players get this beautiful blue colored Nuclear Winter Stash box for their camp.
Level 10: Overseer Chair
The overseer chair will be handed out at Level 10. The item is cool and fits all sorts of interior design. I frankly like its blue color-matched with that raw wooden base. Further, the chair also has a vault 51 number on top and a nuclear logo at the bottom. The default items sync very well with it.
Level 11: 44 Blue Camo Paint
On to level 11, you will get your first weapon skin for .44. The Blue Camo .44 features a mix of light blue and green camo design. You can equip this design for any .44 weapon in Nuclear Winter. Lastly, this is an exclusive skin, holding a lot of value.
Level 12: Bronze Nuclear Winter Trophy
As you make your way to Level 12. You will get another cool figure for Interiors. This Bronze Nuclear Winter Trophy features Vault boy holding a sawed-off shotgun in the right hand and someone’s head on the left. The item can sit at the top of most tables.
Level 13: Hot Rod Shark (10mm)
Reaching level 13 will reward you with Hot Rod Shark for 10mm pistols. The skin features a rough shark patch In red and green color.
Level 15: Blue Camo Power Armor Paint Set
As you reach Level 15, the major items start coming. The Blue Camo Power Armor Paint Set is perhaps one of the fan favorites for T-51. I find it cool for better stealth. By the way, this set is complete; you will get it for Torso, Right Leg, Right Arm, Left Leg, Left Arm, and Most Importantly, helmet. The same goes for all other sets in Nuclear Winter.
Level 16: Medium Nuclear Winter Stash Box
Another Important Item you will get is the Medium Nuclear Winter Stash Box. This is the second most potent box in terms of capacity. The box is in yellow color featuring a cuboid a shape.
Level 21: Laser Rifle Blue Camo Paint
Similar to that of Level 11 Blue Camo skin for .44. This one from level 21 is precisely the same, but it is for the Laser Rifle this time. Although the skin looks cool in pictures, it’s not the same in-game. I’ve noticed once you equip it, the skin looks rusty.
Level 24: Silver Nuclear Winter Trophy
At level 24, you will get another decoration item for your Interior. This time it’s the same Nuclear Winter Trophy from level 12 but in Silver color. There is also a gold Nuclear Winter Trophy, but that would only unlock in Level 32.
Level 25: Laser Rifle Hot Rod Flames Paint
Upon reaching Level 25, you will find another skin for the Laser Gun. This time, it’s the Hot Rod Flames, which is a raw paint on the laser gun. If you want to use it, make sure it’s equipped from the inventory.
Level 29: Slocum’s Joe Power Armor Paint Set
Reaching Overseer rank 29 will land you a nice colorful Slocum’s Joe Power Armor Paint Set. As usual, the set comes with all body parts and can be attached to the X-01, T-60, T-51, T-45, Excavator, and Ultracite.
Level 32: Gold Nuclear Winter Trophy
Overseer Rank 32 rewards you with the final Nuclear Winter Trophy. This is probably the best looking as compared to the Bronze and Silver. Like the other two, this can be used for camp decorations.
Level 33: Brotherhood of Steel Paint (Minigun)
One of my favorite paints or skins for the minigun is the Brotherhood of Steel Paint. This comes at Level 33 and looks scary. From the pictures, it kind of looks average, but once you equip it in-game. The looks will completely blow you away.
Level 37: Hot Rod Shark Paint (Minigun)
Like the level 13 Hot Rod Shark (10mm), this one is the same, but it’s strictly for Minigun. In contrast to the 10mm pistol skin, this one looks complete, and the finish is fantastic.
Level 40: Large Nuclear Winter Stash Box
At level 40, everybody gets this massive Nuclear Winter Stash Box. The box is convenient and can hold large volumes.
Level 41: Vault-Tec Paint (Minigun)
Vault-Tec is another exclusive paint, that players will get upon reaching level 41. It resembles the gold skin with that yellow outline. Once again, another great looking skin completely free.
Level 44: Pink Sprinkles Power Armor Paint Set
Coming in at Overseer rank 44 is the magnificent Prink Sprinkles Power Armor Paint Set. At first glance, it has very childish looks with those colorful sprinkles. However, I must say, it looks gorgeous in-game. The skin isn’t the best for stealth but most undoubtedly good for hangouts.
Level 46: Missile Launcher Atom Cats Paint
The first missile launcher will be rewarded at Overseer Rank 46. The skin doesn’t have the best of looks, but I kind of love it. It features black and white squares at the back and front muzzle. Other parts of the skin have these orange flames all over them.
Level 50: Gladiator Mask
Unlocking at Overseer Level 50 is the Gladiator Mask. It’s more of an innovative modern Gladiator mask than anything that reminds you of Romans. The mask is exclusive and can be attached to the head.
Level 54: Missile Launcher Shi Paint
My personnel favorite Missle skin is the Shi Paint. Players get access to this dragon-themed iconic missile skin at Overseer Rank 54.
Level 57: Bronze Nuclear Winter Statue
At first glance, it kind of looks identical to the Nuclear Winter trophy. That is true, and the only difference from what it seems is that this one has a different base. The Winter Statue features the number 51 on the stone base and can be used as a settlement object.
Level 60: Outcast Power Armor Paint Set
Progressing to Level 60 in Nuclear Winter Mode will get you Outcast Power Armor Paint Set. This one has more of a rougher paint, with scattered red splashes and numerous scratches—nonetheless, still an excellent paint and extremely reliable for stealth.
Level 65: Inferno Mark 1 Power Armor Paint Set
Perhaps the most remarkable and good looking is the Inferno Mark 1. It comes at Level 65, and trust me, it’s worth every single minute you spend on grinding. The design features a bright lava orange color with multiple black lava stickers. Along with that, it has these protective spikes all over the body, resembling an aggressive look.
Level 69: Copper Nuclear Winter Statue
Similar to that of bronze, this is the exact same Nuclear Winter Statue, except it’s in Copper. The design highlights the same vault boy with head in one hand and a sawed-off shotgun in another. Further, it has the same Vault 51 number on its base.
Level 73: Centurion Helmet
Upon reaching Overseer Rank 73, you will receive this revamped Roman soldier’s helmet. The Centurion Helmet features these two cultivated windows with a huge crest that looks to be made of broom bristle.
Level 77: Marble Nuclear Winter Statue
The last and final Nuclear Winter Statue comes in at Level 77. This one has once again the exact same looks, but it’s made of Marble this time. The overall statue resembles a very gold-like appearance; nonetheless, it’s pretty cool to decorate your interiors.
Level 81: Inferno Mark 2 Power Armor Paint Set
Similar to that of Inferno Mark 1, which you will get in Nuclear Winter Level 65. The Mark 2 has similar looks with black flame decals all over the orange body. The Inferno Mark 2 Power Armor Paint Set can be applied to T-45, T-51, T-60, and X-01.
Level 89: Makeshift Ronin Helmet
One of the best Items in Fallout Nuclear Winter is the Makeshift Ronin Helmet. The Helmet has devil looks on the front with four gigantic teeth. Other than that, it has two V-shaped propellers with the number 4 on the top. The Helmet is most certainly the best headwear in the game.

Level 97: Inferno Mark 3 Power Armor Paint Set
There you go, another Inferno Mark Power Armor Paint set. This time it the level 3, with the most extraordinary looks. The difference from what I can see is that it has flames on the spikes. Further, the eyes are captured in lava color with a yellowish tint all over the decals. This comes in at Nuclear Winter Level 97.
Level 100: Hellfire Power Armor Paint Set
The Hellfire Power Armor Paint Set is the last and most exclusive reward from Nuclear Winter. This comes at level 100 and can b used as power armor. Just to clarify, it’s a paint/skin and not a new suit of power armor. Anyhow, it still looks fantastic and you will have to grind a lot to reach level 100.
Takeaways
In this guide, we’ve only discussed the items. The list of actual rewards is long and mostly filled with these minor icons and perk cards. The icons are unique, but they are sort of useless. Here is the list of all items that you will get along the way in Nuclear Winter.
To get all these exclusive Fallout 76 rewards. You will have to play Nuclear Winter for at least 80 hours subsequently if you are good at the game and can rank up fast. It’ll take you around 60 hours.
