Cyberpunk 2077: “If You Stop, You Die” According To Devs

"Night City Waits For No One"

Cyberpunk 2077 is the next game from the makers of The Witcher series, CDPR. We have got our last bit of information from the frame by frame trailer breakdown that the devs have been doing and here we are going to talk about the fast-paced world of Cyberpunk 2077 and how apparel is not there to just look good.

The devs talked about how speed is a major theme in the game and how you will die if you stop. We don’t know if that is metaphorical or literal but the following is what the devs had to say in this regard:

Speed is a major theme in Cyberpunk 2077. For many, it’s just a way of life. The city moves fast, so keep up or get blown back. Any edgerunner will tell you: If you stop, you die — Night City waits for no one.

The devs further went on to talk about the clothes in Cyberpunk 2077 and that they are not just there to look good but for functionality as well. They can connect you to different devices and tech. The following is what the devs had to say in this regard:

Our protagonist’s well-worn bomber jacket oozes style, but that’s not it’s only purpose. Like most fashion choices in Night City, the jacket is also designed to be functional, offering the ability to connect the character to different forms of tech.

That is all the information that we got from the final episode of the game. We might be able to learn more at Gamescom 2018 that is around the corner but we are not sure right now. This was a great way of revealing more information regarding Cyberpunk 2077 and I for one enjoyed these episodes. Now that the series has come to and end I am not sure when we will be able to learn more about Cyberpunk 2077.

Some media did get to play Cyberpunk 2077 behind closed doors at E3 2018, even though it was a big area for the players, it was only a small part of the game. Judging from what we have heard so far, it seems that the game is still far from release.
