Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 May Be Coming In 2024, Suggests Insider

According to an accredited Dragon Ball insider, Dragon Xenoverse 3 may be released in 2024, unless the plan changes.

Dragon Ball has produced some of the finest anime games to date. One of those is the Xenoverse series, and the last installment, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, came out six years ago in 2016. It’s been so long that the hope for a third game has died, but it seems not as a Dragon Ball insider suggests.

Geekdom101, a very well-known insider among the Dragon Ball fans, tweeted in response to a tweet asking about a sequel to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. They added to it by saying that while plans could change, so far, what we can take is that a new game, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, is coming in 2024. Currently, as per the information, the game is still a good two years away.

Bandai Namco or any other officials have not said anything that confirms or denies the claims of the insider. Still, the information needs to be taken with a huge grain of salt as GeekDom101 has been wrong in the past, especially about the return of the Dragon Ball Super anime.

So far, the only upcoming Dragon Ball game we know of is Dragon Ball: The Breakers and that game is nothing like the traditional Dragon Ball games. On top of that, the latest Dragon Ball game, Dragon Ball FighterZ, is also all about the 2D fighting genre and doesn’t have many similarities with Xenoverse games.

The point is that there has been no game like Dragon Ball Xenoverse in a long time, and people still love the game, as Bandai Namco keeps the game updated regularly with new content every now and then. So, this could be it, and we might be getting a new Xenoverse game.

However, the question remains as to what Bandai Namco will include in the new Xenoverse game, as most of the content they could have mustered is already available in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. GeekDom101 also confirmed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 would keep getting newer DLCs until the release of the next PlayStation console. That’s pretty much all we know about the Dragon Xenoverse games, however.
