Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis Steam release will feature 4K, a smooth 30, 60, and 120 FPS, key remapping, Steam achievements, and more on PC. The awaited PC launch has been tested by the Japanese site Famitsu in detail, confirming various upgrades over the mobile version. Arguably, the biggest gameplay improvement is that setting it into windowed mode will let the game progress and grind on its own for you instead of pausing.

There are 16 achievements, and some of them will need the player to grind for specific goals to obtain, while most are just locked behind the story of the entry. The Steam version of the game can also sync with the mobile version to save data. It can allow players to enjoy the RPG on both platforms without much hassle. Additionally, there are also keyboard shortcuts to aid the players in battle.

Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis is a gripping and hearty gacha mobile title —developed by Applibot and published by Square Enix— that blends the slew of Final Fantasy 7 with Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis, and even Advent Children in a playable form. The collection features new outfits for popular characters to complement our wistful memories. Many additional story changes also explain the lore in a much better way.

Many veteran and new players have showered the game with praises for its simple yet compelling approach to gameplay and storytelling. On the other hand, some fans did raise concerns about its gacha mechanics. Constant UI pop-up notifications are another complaint. However, the UI clutter can be turned off, and gacha mechanics can be ignored to some extent. Its Steam release is highly awaited in the community.

All in all, it has been downloaded over two million times soon after its mobile launch. The title launched on September 7 and follows an episodic format but can be grabbed for free. You can download it on Android via the Google Play Store and on iOS through its App Store until it finally comes to Steam on December 7. It is worth stating that the Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis Steam page is still unavailable for some regions.
