Microsoft’s Multiplatform streaming system with Project xCloud

Microsoft entered the gaming world back in November of 2001. It was a success and the first move at going against Playstation’s dominance in the home entertainment gaming network. Fast forwarding to the future, nowadays, their Xbox One unit happens to be an all in one system, ready to play games of all kind and a home entertainment manager as well. Now, seeing how companies, tech ones, are focusing more on getting data on the cloud and then accessing from it, given what Google recently did with their announcement of Project Stream, Microsoft has taken a leap into this direction as well.

Yesterday, Microsoft made their announcement regarding their new streaming service called Project xCloud. Project xCloud would not be any mere streaming service but would incorporate the busy lives of everyone nowadays. Their focus is allowing the streaming of Xbox titles and those on the PC to be streamed on Mobile Phones and other portable devices such as tablets and iPads. Although details are still missing from the announcement, similar to that when it was first hinted during E3 this year. It was announced though that Microsoft will make use of their cloud computing tech in Microsoft Azure and that players could see a public Beta as soon as the start of 2019. A video of what the service might hold can be seen here below
