Dragonkin – The Banished is being developed by Eko Software, a studio in Paris, France. It was founded over two decades ago and has mainly worked on what appear to be low-budget or cult-following titles. One notable entry from its portfolio is Warhammer: Chaosbane from 2019. It launched to a mixed reception but several outlets praised its class variety, ARPG elements, and multiplayer design.

All of those things are going to be a part of Dragonkin – The Banished which gives it great legs to stand on. That being said, it’s still in development so the final product may be something entirely different. For now, it’s best to have an open mind and await further information throughout the year.

Nacon first filed the trademark for Dragonkin – The Banished in Europe on December 10, 2023. At the time, information on the project was practically non-existent save for a logo. Now we’re aware of the aforementioned facts in addition to having a release window.

Dragonkin – The Banished arrives for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025. It may find itself competing with Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds and Rockstar’s GTA 6.
