New Minecraft Universe announced with “Minecraft: Dungeons”

With Minecon going on, excited updates were some of the things that were expected. Firstly, they introduced a fresh update for the title called Village and Pillage. This update is set to arrive sometime in 2019. It is an important update as it includes different new characters, important ones. These include characters such as librarians and even barbarians. The announcement that took that cake though was Majong revealing their upcoming title, Minecraft: Dungeons.

The title which was announced for the PC (people waiting for other platforms), is a refined, overhead view version of the existing game. It also features many reoccurring characters from the original Minecraft along with new, dungeon specific ones. The trailer for the title can be seen below

As it can be seen on the trailer, there have been made significant graphical enhancements. Apart from that, a specific and keen attention has been paid to focus more on the role playing side of the game. Previously, Minecraft was famous for its free and open world experience but this time around, they are going about a different course. Players would have the option of playing the game on their own, as single players or joining a team of 2-4 players, joining up with their friends, to take on the dungeon world and its mysteries.
