Leaks Reveal New Pokemon From Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC

New Pokemon and a new Pokemon form to be more precise.

Story Highlights

  • The latest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC leak reveals a new Ursaluna form, three Ogerpon forms, and the new Pokemon Sinistcha, along with their shiny forms and dex entries.
  • Ogerpon’s three new forms each have a mask to distinguish their different elements, each with a different playstyle.
  • The Bloodmoon Ursaluna leak also reveals its description, giving the new form some interesting lore.
  • Sinistcha could be in the same evolutionary line as Poltchageist as it shares many resemblances, unlike other tea Pokemon.

Several leaks from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC reveal the new Pokemon Sinistcha, Ogerpon’s three forms, and Ursaluna’s Bloodmoon form (thanks, Kaphotics, ElChicoEevee, CentroLeaks). Bloodmoon Ursaluna’s Scarlet and Violet descriptions give us more lore behind the form and some of its capabilities. Ogerpon’s new forms have distinct elements, similar to “eeveelutions,” and Sinistcha could be the pre-evolution of Poltchageist.

Ursaluna’s Bloodmoon form in the image gives serious FNAF vibes, which fans are all in for. This new transformation comes with two descriptions for each game version and hints at more lore for the giant Pokemon. And although we don’t know Bloodmoon Ursaluna’s types, the dex description does point towards it being a Ground/Steel type.

As for Sinistcha, the name itself suggests that this could be the pre-evolution of Poltchageist, who is currently not known to evolve from or into any Pokemon. The other two tea Pokemon include Sinistea and its evolution Polteageist. Considering how the others are named and Sinistcha being matcha tea, the same as Poltchageist, it appears to be the most likely scenario.

Each of these forms has a different mask, which shows its type. Most importantly, each form excels in one playstyle. For example, the fire mask excels in aggressive playstyle, the steel mark boasts high defences, while the water mask balances both attack and defence. More information about this Pokemon can be found in the dex entry of each masked form.

Lastly, these Pokemon, and several others, have a shiny form. These leaks give us much information about the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet two-part expansion. The expansion is called “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero,” with the first part being “The Teal Mask,” which these leaks are from. It is scheduled to release on September 13, 2023.

Thanks For Keeping Us All Up To Date. I Really Hope These Leaks Are Real, Especially The One Of Bloodmoon Ursaluna. I Mean, I Know It\'s Been Over A Year Ago, But I Like The Idea Of It Getting A Regional Variant. And I Bet Sinistcha Is A Real Pokemon. It Really Sounds Like It\'s The Pre-evolved Form Of Poltchageist.
