The list of tested titles that are available in a spreadsheet and can be played in VR already spans hundreds. These games fully transform with 6DOF tech and can be enjoyed like any standard title created for virtual reality. But that is far from all; the official website mentions that SteamDB brings up 11,000 Unreal Engine titles, out of which over thousands are easily playable without any limits. Most titles remain to be tested, however.
For the unsupported Unreal Engine 4 and 5 titles at the moment, some might need custom written code to be “supported.” The community has been invited to help with creating profiles and fixes for certain titles that may have trouble down the road.
For many games, you can just press ‘inject’ and start playing. There is a lot that you can tweak though (and that could make some people just want to wait for a profile to be made and be certified as ‘the whole game working well in VR’ before attempting to play it themselves.”

Previous claims have suggested that over 90% of Unreal Engine games can be played in VR using the Praydog’s UEVR mod. Regardless, getting into the mod is also fairly easy for the “tech-illiterate” since that has been one of the major goals all along. I suggest watching the detailed yet simple video taken from the official website down below. Additionally, pay a visit to the official website to download the mod and pick a title to experience in VR.
Some supported titles include Returnal, Stray, Ghostrunner, Hogwarts Legacy, Days Gone, Borderlands 3, and many more. Praydog’s UEVR mod can completely shift the gaming scene by making almost all the Unreal Engine games playable in VR with 6DOF tech. The massive scope of the mod will likely see a bundle of updates in the future, allowing for more titles developed in Unreal Engine 4 and 5 to be available in virtual reality.
