- It is evolving faster than expected on the emulator and will become fully playable in the future.
While a Bloodborne PC port might not be happening in any official capacity—despite plenty of rumors from various sources—the fans have grown tired and taken it upon themselves to bring the game to PC. As shown by YouTuber BrutalSam in a new short video, the PS4 version of the title can now run on PC using the shadPS4 emulator, achieving an astounding 20 FPS during the latest gameplay showcase.
A lot of progress has been made to get it working in the last few weeks alone. The Souls-like could not even load beyond the starting screen a couple of weeks ago using the same emulator. The massive strides being made will make it possible for everyone using the shadPS4 emulator to enjoy the PS4 version of Bloodborne. At the current pace, the fans will likely get it to work before Sony can release an official PC port.
Bloodborne is getting closer and closer to being playable on shadps4 emulator, you can download the BB hacks build and give it a try,” reads the video description.
The Bloodborne PC Emulation Will Only Get Better From Here
Although no concrete timeline is given, the rate of improvement suggests that Bloodborne could run at constant high FPS in the span of a year, if not earlier. Perhaps we’ll be able to enjoy 30 FPS gameplay in a couple of months. However, it’s unclear how Sony will react to this growing anomaly; the conglomerate could decide to take legal action and bring down the whole project, which would be incredibly damaging to the community.

The video also provides a link to download the Bloodborne build for yourself. However, it is far from an enjoyable experience unless you enjoy defeating eldritch entities in a jittery, slow-motion manner. The development of the emulation should also be taken with a grain of salt since a lot can go wrong in the process.
