Kai Cenat is the most subscribed-to streamer on Twitch with over 88,000 current active subscribers. Along with his rapidly growing fame, the number of hateful comments, racist slurs, and the number of trolls against him is at an all-time high at the present.
On November 28, Cenat experienced a racist encounter with his teammates during a broadcast of Modern Warfare 2 on his live stream. Initially, he tended to ignore the racist and homophobic slurs against him and a fellow player by shouting over the hateful comments but eventually confronted them.
Well, I would be f*cking mad if I was f*cking broke and… didn’t know what to do for the rest of my f*cking life,” Kai shouted angrily during the live stream. “You’re a thirty-year-old f*cking bastard, you f*cking b*tch.”
Major Takeaway:
- Kai Cenat was broadcasting a live stream of Modern Warfare 2 with other streamers.
- His teammates used racial slurs against him and a fellow player.
- Cenat shouted back at them.
This wasn’t the first time Cenat experienced racial profiling during his live streams. Earlier this year, while playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with yourRAGE, his teammates used derogatory remarks against him.
When called out, they offensively stated, “Don’t buy the game Call of Duty if you don’t want to be called a ni**er. Don’t talk.” Frustrated by this, Kai shouted back, “Dude we don’t do that shi* bro. Chill out man. Dude what the f*ck… That’s totally not cool bro what the f*ck!“
Racial slurs on Twitch live streams are increasingly becoming common. Along with Kai Cenat, many other streamers also face this regularly. Earlier, T-Pain also dealt with one such incident where he was remarked with, “F**k Black Lives Matter” followed more derogatory remarks his way.
