While this is to be taken with a grain of salt, the listing does seem to suggest that EA Motive is currently working on a new open-world entry for Iron Man. Furthermore, the listing also states that the “Motive is to create innovative action games within iconic worlds where every player feels like the hero.” Additionally, the Senior Writer is supposed to define the way the team develops “worlds internally.”
While the world awaits the release of the title in question, one fan has already taken matters into his own hands by using Unreal Engine 5 to develop a short Iron Man game demo. Furthermore, Avalanche Studios was working on an open-world game for the Iron Man franchise. However, the project was short-lived and ended up being dead, along with the aspirations of fanatics.
Iron Man is one of the most iconic heroes in Marvelverse. It’s certainly about time that Tony Stark gets treated to a modern-day rendition of a AAA title, especially after the likes of Wolverine and Venom are about to fall into the spotlight as well.
