Ubisoft has been on a roll lately, putting out one weekly promotion after the other on its official storefront, thereby letting people on a tight budget amass quite the library of Ubisoft titles. This time, it’s apparently the Ghost Recon franchise’s turn, as the Ubisoft Store has discounted multiple Ghost Recon titles up to 80%, along with different DLC deals to go hand in hand with that as well.
Here are the games and DLC along with their discounted prices available for purchase on the Ubisoft Store. Keep in mind though that you have until May 4 to grab the titles with this promotional pricing. After that period, another Ubisoft sale event is likely to go live, and it may or may not involve Ghost Recon titles.
- Ghost Recon Breakpoint – $12
- Ghost Recon Wildlands – $10
- Ghost Recon Breakpoint Ultimate Edition – $24
- Ghost Recond Wildlands Year 2 Pass – $7.50
- Ghost Recon Breakpoint Year 1 Pass – $14
- Ghost Recon Future Soldier Deluxe Edition – $6.25
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – $3
- Ghost Recon Breakpoint Gold Edition – $20
The technically latest entry in the Ghost Recon series—Ghost Recon Breakpoint—because Ghost Recon Frontline was surprisingly canceled last year, features new elements to the series while retaining some semblance of the existing ones. Player critique seemingly regards Breakpoint as a mix of Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell games, since every mission is flexible enough to be completed with stealth, and The Division, mainly due to the open-world setting.
The title’s Ultimate Edition on sale right now comes with the base game, Infiltration Pack, Year 1 Pass, and Ultimate Pack. This variant of the game is certainly a better bang-for-your-buck deal as compared to purchasing the Year 1 Pass alone, especially for those who haven’t bought the third-person shooter already. As for the content included in the Gold Edition of the game, that one comprises the Year 1 Pass along with the base title.
As for Wildlands, this one has been received by the audience better than Ghost Recon Breakpoint, primarily due to the overall gameplay that puts player freedom at the forefront of it all. Critics are of the opinion that Wildlands still isn’t the best Ghost Recon game out there, but to view it as a title that stands on its own, it’s fairly addictive and fun. The “Very Positive” overall review rating on Steam is one to take into account as well here.
In other news, after a period of rumors and speculation, including a Ubisoft+ tile appearing in the Xbox Rewards app, the French industry giant’s subscription service has integrated with Xbox consoles and PC via Ubisoft Connect, unlocking a slew of benefits in the wake of the merger. For $17.99 a month, you can play new Ubisoft releases on day one, get 10% off on all virtual in-game currency, and access a catalog of developer titles.
Over 60 games are included as part of the membership and these are inclusive of the Ultimate, Gold, and Deluxe editions of the respective titles. These usually include a swath of more ways to play your favorite games, either in the form of season passes or expansions. Lastly, in-game rewards, such as customization-centric skins are also handed out to players in multiplayer titles, such as Rainbox Six Siege with Ubisoft+.
