Ubisoft Mainz Hiring For Development Of Unannounced Title

Prominent job listings sighted over at the Ubisoft website.

It’s always exhilarating to see notable game studios hiring for unannounced projects. They usually go unnoticed on the radars of the gaming community. However, they are always worth investigating when speculations surround a studio’s following hidden titles. Planting itself worldwide, Ubisoft engineers the amplest of games on its frontline. Perhaps that’s the driving force behind Ubisoft‘s concurrence.

One of those studios is located in the heartland of Germany. Ubisoft Mainz is best known for lending aid in developing titles such as Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Rainbow Six Siege. Recently we noticed Ubisoft Mainz post job listings for an unannounced title. Howbeit, they have not specified if the title is AAA in nature. Knowing Ubisoft, it’d more likely be an AAA experience. Though take that with a grain of salt.

Ubisoft Hiring For The Game Writer Position

Ubisoft is hiring for the position of a Game Writer for its studio based in Mainz. We suspect that this unannounced title has not been in the works for long because of this listing. A game writer is often hired at the start of development. Conceivably that’s the reason that we have not heard anything about it.

We are looking for a Game Writer to work on a yet unannounced project developed at Ubisoft Mainz. This new project, not related to the ANNO series, has a strong narrative focus.

You work in various areas such as written dialogue, systemic game text, world building, story, and character development.

This unannounced title appears to have a clear cynosure on narration. The choices of players may affect the world around them. The description also implies that this listing has nothing to do with the ANNO series

Ubisoft Hiring For The Game Designer Position

Ubisoft is also hiring for the Game Designer position for its studio based in Mainz. Crafting the vision of the game into genuine gameplay is no easy feat. A game designer leads the team to craft and polish game designs. Ubisoft further describes the position.

We are looking for a Game Designer to work on a yet unannounced project developed at Ubisoft Mainz

You translate the project’s vision into actual gameplay and enable our players to experience our game’s narrative and its world. From conception to implementation and polishing, you take part in creating, iterating, and fine-tuning designs that are engaging and fun.

Various bugs need to be addressed, and nit-picking glitches may become a hurdle in development. No doubt, a good game designer is required to produce memorable titles. The game designer also needs to balance out the gameplay to avoid a messy ordeal.

The listing gives us a rough idea of a game designer’s expectations. The game designer needs to have immense experience in this domain to apply for Ubisoft. A great deal of collaboration is required among developers to implement game systems.

Two more job positions are opened for this unannounced project: the game programmer and senior programmer. We are unsure what Ubisoft is brewing in their studio, but these listings give us a discrete idea. Let’s hope we hear about this title in a year or two; as of now, it appears to be in a primitive state. What do you think about these listings? Let us know in the comments below!
