Yoshimitsu returns in Tekken 8 with over 200 moves available in his kit. While this seems a little complicated, the combos of Yoshimitsu are pretty easy to learn in Tekken 8. Even beginners can learn the moves and combos of the character, but it does require some practice.
- Yoshimitsu, the leader of the Maji Clan, makes a return in Tekken 8.
- His character boasts an extensive moveset with over 200 moves.
- Yoshimitsu’s combos are divided into three categories: Basic, Advanced, and Perfect.
- The Basic combo is the easiest to use, suitable for beginners.
- The Advanced combo is more challenging but can deal significant damage to opponents.
- The Perfect combo is difficult due to numerous inputs but, when executed correctly, can deplete the opponent’s entire health.
- Mishandling combos may result in Yoshimitsu getting dizzy and falling to the ground.
In Tekken 8, Yoshimitsu has some great combos that are pretty easy to learn.
The following are some of my personal favorite combos of Yoshimitsu:
Combo | Inputs |
---|---|
Basic Combo | RD + 2 then use heat activation mode by pressing RB and press it again to complete the combo. |
Basic Combo | RD + 2 then R + 2 + 1 then D and press 2 three times. |
Advanced Combo | RD + 2 then 3 + 1 then during Majin Dragonfly press 2 + 4 then L + 2 + 1. |
Advanced Combo With Heat Dash | During Heat Press L + 2 + 2 then R then D + 2 + 2 + 2 then R + 3 + 2 + 1 2. |
Perfect Combo | While Rising Press 2 + 1 then during Majin Dragonfly Press 2 + 4 then 3 + 1 then during Majin Dragonfly Press 1 + 2 together. |
Basic Combo
To activate the basic combo, all you have to do is activate Oma Kuguichi, then Heart Burst, and then Divine Sword Kagekiyo. That seems pretty simple, and believe me, it is simple in practice, too.
- Can Be Used At Start: This is a great combo to start a match that can take the enemy by surprise. However, you can’t use this combo on the same enemy again and again, so you will have to play strategically, too.
- Basic But Deadly: This combo is basic, but it can surely take out a chunk of opponents’ health from the start. It is one of the easiest combos of Yoshimitusu to master in Tekken 8, but using it at the perfect time could be challenging.
Advanced Combo
Advanced combo requires more inputs to be activated, and it is easy to mess up. To perform the advanced combo, you must activate Naguri Kabuto Wari, Stone Fists, Kincho, and Submission Chakram. Simply press the LP (twice), then down-back, and instantly press LP (four times). Now, you don’t have to rush, and with a brief pause, press LP + RP, then follow it up with Forwards and a Left Punch.
- Combo Isn’t Easy To Use: I know this combo isn’t that easy to learn, but it does feel good to use. However, make sure not to overdo the spinning attack while using the combo.
- Don’t Overdo The Combo: If you overdo it, you will get dizzy and fall to the ground. This will take some practice, but it is worth practicing one of the best combos of Yoshimitsu in Tekken 8.
Perfect Combo
To initiate the Perfect Combo, start with the Left Punch and then follow up with the Oma Gehosen, Slap U Silly, Heshikirinagi, Heshikiriseibatsu, and lastly, the Death Slash. The difficulty of the Perfect Combo is high, but the damage it provides is extremely high, too. Press LP along with Back, then follow up with RP, LP, and Back. Without wasting any time, press LP (4 times), down, RP (2 times), down, LP, down, then instantly press RP (4 times) down and then hold the LP.
- Match Ending Combo: This combo can take out the whole health of the opponent, but it requires perfect execution. Yoshimitsu will hit the enemy with the barrage of combos and finish them with a charged Death Slash.
- Gets Easier With Time: It might seem a little difficult at first, but getting the hang of it is pretty easy. Once you perform it in combat, you can do it more often.
My Experience
I had a pretty fun experience with Yoshimitsu as his combos are pretty fun to use and can destroy the opponent in combat.
Yoshimitsu combos, while easy to master, are pretty easy to mess up. I have faced many situations where I messed up the combos, and it cost me the match. Messing up the combos will often cause Yoshimitsu to get dizzy and fall to the ground. This gives the opponent a massive opportunity to turn the tables.
That is almost everything you would want to know about the Yoshimitsu combos in Tekken 8. While you are at it, you should take a look at the review of Tekken 8 by a veteran of the franchise, Muhammad Roaim Chohan.
