Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3: “Key Elements” Are Already Coming Together

While most of the work is done, the open-world needs to be rebuilt to accommodate the Highwind.

While most of the work for the open world is already done in Rebirth, it will need to be rebuilt for the Highwind.
The dev cycle for part 3 in the trilogy is thought to be four years but the team has finalized nothing so far.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is already under the works by Square Enix. Along with reaffirmation, the game director Naoki Hamaguchi has conveyed that most of the work for it is already done. During an interview with The Washington Post, he said that “key elements” are already starting to come together. While the open world is already established in Rebirth, the devs will have to rebuild it to accommodate Highwind, the flying ship.

I definitely want to address the same for what is likely expected from our experience with the Highwind to explore the world,” says the director.

The massive ship was used as a transport in the original entry, playing a major role in the RPG. I am also looking forward to how the devs will implement the behemoth of a ship in Part 3 since no details have yet been confirmed. Additionally, the development time for the next remake is suspected to take four years, but the director has not confirmed the tidbits; many things can change in the future after all.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Could Be A Huge Leap Over Rebirth

The first Final Fantasy 7 remake was nothing short of amazing, but Rebirth is a major upgrade over it. Fans are also expecting a noticeable leap in Part 3 of the trilogy. And now, all the stars are already beginning to align for the third remake to shake the gaming industry as a whole.
