- The sequel footage is confirmed to be aiming for a 2024 release, much to everyone’s surprise.
After six years, a sequel to Kingdom: Come Deliverance has not been off the charts at all. However, the trailer footage leaking out of nowhere has surely come as a surprise. The trailer was accidentally uploaded by IGN before being struck down, but the community was fast enough to secure it on Streamable. The devs were supposed to reveal it later today in an exclusive stream.
The few seconds of footage do confirm various visuals and technical updates. The trailer itself is quite small and only shows a few moments but also affirms a grave detail. Surprisingly, the title is meant to release later this year. Henry clarifies that he wants to “become more than a peasant,” a sentiment also shared in the first game. We also see him get captured, tortured, and face another knight in a duel.
Kingdom: Come Deliverance Stands Out Among The Popular RPG Games
The fans have been eyeing the sequel for quite a while. The original RPG left an indelible mark on the industry with its classless roleplaying, difficult save system, and other realistic approaches that made it unique among its established peers. It is no surprise that talks of a sequel have caused a storm in the industry, and a 2024 release date has further excited players to no end—most were expecting the sequel to come out next year.

For those not in the know, the original Kingdom: Come Deliverance launched on February 13, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Luna, and recently for Nintendo Switch. It initially received mixed critic reviews from critics due to its unique take on combat and gameplay, but soon became a classic among fans for exactly that reason. Although technical bugs were not a rarity back in the day.
