Resident Evil Veronica Is One Of The Most Anticipated Resident Evil Remakes
Resident Evil Code Veronica has always been a black sheep among Resident Evil mainline entries. Like other mainline entries in the series, its level design, gameplay systems, and story haven’t aged as gracefully.
Ever since the RE2 remake’s release, there has been a discussion on which Resident Evil was in most need of a remake, and Code Veronica was brought up in those discussions several times. It has been a title fans have demanded a remake for for years, and Capcom finally announced the project at Summer Game Fest 2026.
According to the Steam Page: Resident Evil Veronica is a remake of 2000’s Resident Evil Code: Veronica.
This new title preserves the essence of the original game, while introducing modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics.
