Capcom has been winning the hearts of gamers by producing masterpieces like Street Fighter, Dragon’s Dogma, Resident Evil, and Devil May Cry. As of now, Street Fighter VI isn’t the only eye-grabber, as Dragon’s Dogma may be getting a new game reveal tomorrow.
Dragon’s Dogma was released back in May 2012. It was a roleplaying game developed by the infamous Capcom. It focused on a human protagonist who’s on a quest to defeat the dragon, Grigori. The game initially came out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and was later released on Windows in 2016, along with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.
The game was an instant hit and made record-breaking sales. It was well-received by critics and players were very delighted with what the developers had achieved. It was only two days ago that Hideaki Itsuno, the Game Director at Capcom, made a brief appearance at the Capcom Showcase event.
He shared that it was the 10th-year anniversary of Dragon’s Dogma a few weeks back. He added that later this week, a 10th Anniversary video would be released, celebrating the 10 years of the game, how much they have accomplished and what is next.
Hideaki Itsuno assured players that they have something everyone including longtime fans and new gamers will enjoy. Recently, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen was also on sale for the lowest price ever on Nintendo eShop to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary.
After the Showcase event, details for the digital event were tweeted. It was not long after that when the anniversary website’s URL mentioned “preorder” in it, which may be a major hint given to players by the developers.
We are not sure whether this is an honest mistake or an intentional easter egg, but we are excited for tomorrow’s 10 Years of Dragon’s Dogma digital event. The digital event will premiere tomorrow on the Capcom USA YouTube channel at 3 P.M. EDT and 11 P.M. BST.
