Content Warning: How To Paralyze Enemies With The Shock Stick

A guide on how to obtain the shock stick and use it against enemies.

After a few days, the difficulty and danger level of enemies will increase significantly in the Old World. Sometimes, running away from these entities isn’t enough to survive, and it is important to have an offensive weapon that you can use in dangerous situations. Therefore, you can get yourself a Shock Stick, one of the most powerful weapons in Content Warning.

Key Takeaways
  • Shock Stick is a powerful offensive weapon in Content Warning.
  • It can stun and immobilize enemies and even teammates for a few seconds.
  • Players can obtain it from the shop by spending $400, which can be used up to four times per dive.

It is definitely quite a lot to pay, and you won’t be able to get this much money until after three or four days of uploading videos. But don’t worry, as you won’t need it early on either because the difficulty level of the monsters will be fairly easy.

  • Ordering From The Shop: To place an order for the Shock Stick, you simply have to go to the shop terminal, click on Shock Stick and select Order Here. The item can be found in the Gadgets section of the shop.
  • Equipping The Shock Stick: After ordering, you will receive it via drone. To equip it, simply pick it up, and it will be ready to use.

How To Use The Shock Stick

While you won’t be able to kill any monsters using this weapon, you can paralyze them for a few seconds and escape them easily.

This amazing weapon can be used against all kinds of monsters to stun and paralyze them for a while until you escape.

  • Be Wary Of The Limited Charges: Even though with the high price point, you won’t be able to use the Shock Stick as much as you want. With the weapon, you only get four shocks, so you will have to be very careful when using them.
  • Personal Tip: Personally, I kept my charges until the very end of exploration so I could use them against any monsters while escaping.
  • Using It On Your Teammates: I found it very fun to use this weapon as well, and that is to use it on your friend. Doing so will paralyze them for a few seconds, and it can be fun if you’re trying to get more engaging content for Spook Tube. Ensure not to do this during your exploration, as you might get caught by one of the monsters in the area.
  • Using It Against Higher Level Monsters: I found the Shock Stick to be really useful, especially during a solo play-through, as I could use it against monsters like the Ceiling Monster. Even if you get caught by it, you can escape easily using the Shock Stick. It can also be used against other monsters with higher danger levels.

  • Filming The Monsters For Views: Some monsters can be very tricky to film due to various reasons. Therefore, you can use the Shock Stick to stun or immobilize them for a few seconds while you film them to get more views.
  • Recharge For Later Adventures: While the weapon’s shocks are limited, you can still recharge it for your next dive in the Old World. Just like the flashlight, all you have to do is equip it and stand near a charging station, and the Shock Stick will be ready to use again.

With this, I will summarize my detailed guide on obtaining and using the Shock Stick.
