Trials this Week

The Latest Destiny 2 trials of Osiris kick off today, with Bungie confirming plans to make changes to the long-running crucible challenge in April. As of today, there are multiple reasons why you should visit and play Trials of Osiris. Otherwise, the Witch Queen DLC is nearing its launch and who knows players might not play this weekly event by then.

Why players should play Trials of Osiris

While we know the changes are being planned as part of the next expansion, that doesn’t mean you still can’t unlock some great Destiny 2 trials rewards this week. Today, the return of the trials was seen, and the regular rules were enforced without any mention of rule changes. However, the endgame goal would remain to unlock the endgame weapon of choice that Bungie has chosen to be the top prize.

Last week, the guardians were trying to hit the high mark trying to claim the Sola’s Scar Legendary depth sword. This week’s official trials rewards will start being revealed as the event progresses, right after 5 PM GMT. After this, it would be up to guardians to do the hard work as Bungie hardly ever provides clues beforehand.

The Changes

There are some changes that Bungie has made to its Trials of Osiris weekly event. Trials now boast a seven-win challenge, available from Saint-XIV, providing the adept flawless loot. Also, there are a few changes this time around. For starters, the reputation gain per match wins that you get by using a ticket is now increased. Secondly, the developers had previously stated to reduce the overall round time of Trials of Osiris to 90 seconds only; wow, talk about the heat you will get in less than two minutes.

Earning more reputation is always beneficial as a higher reputation is directly related to better rewards. Every week, the map on which the Trials of Osiris are fought resets; this week, it’s the Eternity that players would be fighting in. Earning Reputation upgrades a player’s Reputation Rank; at each Reputation Rank, there are different rewards that players can achieve by leveling up.

  • Rank 4 – x2 Upgrade Modules
  • Rank 7 – x3 Enhancement Prism
  • Reputation Rank 10: The Inquisitor (Arc Shotgun)
  • Rank 13 – x2 Upgrade Module
  • Reputation Rank 16: Whistler’s Whim (Kinetic Bow)
  • Flawless Reward: Unwavering Duty (Adept) Machine Gun (best trials reward this week)

The Inquisitor

The Inquisitor is an Arc Shotgun in Destiny 2, a powerful reward in the game’s Trials of Osiris. This unique weapon can shoot multiple shells in one burst, making it an incredibly powerful weapon for close-range combat. Its design is based on a classic pump-action shotgun, with a long barrel and a drum magazine that can hold up to eight shells. The Inquisitor is a powerful weapon with a high fire rate and great accuracy, making it a great choice for players looking to dominate in close-range encounters.

The Inquisitor is a reward for players who complete the Trials of Osiris, a weekly competition in Destiny 2 that pits teams of three players against each other in a fight for the highest score. The team with the highest score at the end of the match is rewarded with the Inquisitor, along with other rewards such as emblems, armor, and powerful weapons. The Inquisitor is a great choice for players looking to dominate in close-range combat, as its high fire rate and great accuracy make it a powerful weapon. It is also a great choice for players looking to get into the Trials of Osiris, as it is a powerful reward that can give them an edge in the competition.

Whistler’s Whim

Whistler’s Whim (Kinetic Bow) is a Legendary Kinetic Bow that can be obtained as a reward for reaching Reputation Rank 16 in Trials of Osiris. This weapon is a powerful kinetic bow capable of dealing massive amounts of damage. It is especially powerful when used in PvP activities, as it can quickly and accurately shoot multiple arrows in a single shot.

This bow has a unique perk, Whistler’s Whim, which causes precision final blows to trigger a cascade of arrows. When you land a precision shot, you will fire off a volley of additional arrows. This can be especially useful when engaging multiple targets, as it allows you to take out multiple enemies with a single shot. Additionally, this perk can help you quickly build up your Super meter, as the additional arrows deal quite a bit of damage.

Unwavering Duty

The Unwavering Duty is an Adept Machine Gun that can be obtained as a flawless reward for completing Trials. Players must win 7 Trial games without losing a match to earn this weapon as a reward.

The Unwavering Duty is a powerful and reliable weapon well-suited for providing sustained damage in the Crucible, Destiny 2’s competitive multiplayer mode. It has a high fire rate and can handle heavy damage at close range. In addition to its raw power, the Unwavering Duty also has several useful perks that can help players in combat, such as the ability to reload faster after a kill and to gain a temporary boost to movement speed after a successful hit.

Overall, Unwavering Duty is a formidable weapon worth the effort required to earn it as a flawless reward in Trials. Players who can get their hands on this Adept Machine Gun will be well-equipped to take on any challenge that the Crucible throws. So, it can be a great reward for players looking to improve their Crucible skills and become a more formidable force in the game.
