To delete game progress data, navigate to Baldur’s Gate 3 installation directory on your PC through the Steam folder and delete the local app data folder. Additionally, the game syncing issue should disappear once it begins saving game progress data in a new way.

Selecting the Baldur’s Gate 3 AppData Folder will help fix the error in no time and cause smooth gameplay.

1. Open the Steam launcher > Library > Baldur’s Gate 3 > Manage > Browse local files > AppData > Local > Larian Studios > Baldur’s Gate 3.

My Thoughts On Baldur’s Gate 3 Currently Syncing Error

Baldur’s Gate 3 has shocked players and critics alike with how amazing it has been in terms of gameplay and overall enjoyability. With the massive success and critical acclaim of the game have come, however, a fair number of criticism as well the majority of which points towards bugs and errors that fans of the game, such as myself, are disappointed to see left in the game at release.

I also recommend you check out any discussions being held on the Currently Syncing error on online gaming forums such as Steam Community, and Reddit.

The Currently Syncing Error is one that I have been facing a lot and I was finally able to fix it, but it should be Larian Studios’ responsibility to pay attention to all the feedback they are receiving online and push out a fix for the error.

At the very least, the community  deserves that Larian Studios at least address the matter on their social media but so far, they have not commented on this error, but keep a lookout for addresses such as this one:
