Anime fighters are awesome. Who doesn’t love playing as a hot witch who beats you over the head with a guitar while listening to the hardest rock song you have ever heard? People who haven’t played Guilty Gear that’s who. If you’ve been hesitating to jump into some of the best anime fighters currently around, then hesitate no more as it’s the perfect time to do just that with the Arc System Works Publisher Sale 2024.

The highlights of the sale are Guilty Gear -Strive- which happens to be 50% off, Guilt Gear XX Accent Core Plus R which is 77% off, and Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 which is 67% off. The latter two games also received Rollback netcode in a major post-launch update.

If the former is not your thing, then you can get the fantastic BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle at a 75% discount, KILL la KILL -IF which is also on a 75% discount, and Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code which is 80% off.

Either way, if you’re even remotely into fighting games then you’re not going to be disappointed. Arc System Works consistently produces some of the best anime fighters in the business. I myself have sunk over 100 hours in Guilty Gear -Strive- and every minute of it was fun times…well maybe not the lobby system or the time you spend waiting every time you start it but you get the idea.

What’s The Best Bang For My Buck?

Guilty Gear
Guilty Gear -Strive-

Guilty Gear -Strive- is a massive content-rich fighter featuring 26 entirely unique characters (counting DLC), the best tutorial of any fighting game out there, and an extremely deep easy-to-learn, and insanely difficult-to-master combat system.

Unfortunately, though, there’s not much in the way of single-player content. You have the usual arcade mode, but the story mode is just a lengthy movie with no gameplay in between.
