BioWare Secret Teams Working On More Dragon Age And Mass Effect Games?

More Information At PAX

BioWare has been very vocal since Anthem was announced and it seems that is not the only game that BioWare is working on right now. BioWare GM Casey Hudson wrote about the devs holding a panel at PAX where they will be talking about Anthem and answering questions that people have. A secret team was also mentioned.

Hudson talked about the world of Anthem and how everything comes together in single player and multiplayer. The following is what he had to say in this regard:

We talked briefly at EA Play about how the solution is called ‘Our World, My Story. In the dynamic open world, everything is experienced in real-time by all Anthem players – day/night, weather, and world-scale events that shape the ongoing narrative of the setting.  This is ‘our world,’ which we share as a player community.  Then when you return to Fort Tarsis, that’s actually a single-player experience, and it’s where you spend time developing relationships, making choices, and seeing consequences.  That’s the ‘my story’ part.

He admitted that this created more questions and that fans want to know more information regarding the game. He talked about BioWare coming to PAX in order to answer questions that people have regarding Anthem as well as other games. So that is something to look forward to. The following is what he had to say in this regard:

But even with that description I know there are many more questions about how it will work. To really go deep on this subject, we’ll be doing a panel at PAX where we’ll talk about ‘our world, my story, and other big questions you’ve had about Anthem.

At the very end, he hinted that more Dragon Age and Mass Effect games could be in the works. He was very specific in his working and did not mention whether we would hear about those games at PAX but I am sure that someone is going to ask anyway. The following is what he had to say in this regard:

And yes – we hear loud and clear the interest in BioWare doing more Dragon Age and Mass Effect, so rest assured that we have some teams hidden away working on some secret stuff that I think you’ll really like – we’re just not ready to talk about any of it for a little while..

This is all very interesting indeed. Anthem is going to come out in February 2019. You should check it out.
