The Dead by Daylight and Meet Your Maker dev Behaviour Interactive is working on an unannounced project. According to various new job listings on its career page, it appears to be a multiplayer AAA title being brewed using Unreal Engine 5. The ad for the Senior AI Programmer iterates the AAA part and confirms that it will feature multiple “game modes” and “immersive experiences.”
As a Senior AI Programmer, you’ll be at the forefront of an exciting AAA project, leveraging your expertise to enhance game modes and captivate players with immersive experiences.”
On the other hand, the ad for Programming Team Lead expects the developer to work on a “multiplayer game using Unreal 5 Engine.” Similarly, the Senior 3D Animator role expects the dev to create “a wide variety of character types within the gameplay space: humanoid characters, quadruped enemies, mechanized suits” among many others. Unfortunately, that is all we know of the mystery project so far.
Behaviour Interactive Boasts An Entertaining Repertoire Of Games
The studio has been active since the early 90s but has not stopped producing fun entries spanning various genres. It is also behind Fallout Shelter and many other attention-grabbing experiences. The studio is currently preparing to release The Casting of Frank Stone, an intense narrative horror set in the Dead by Daylight universe. It will drop on all the major current-gen platforms later this year.

Behaviour Interactive could be working on multiple games, as hinted in its old job ads before Meet Your Maker came out last year. None of the old reports mentioned the use of Unreal Engine 5, which makes this one stand out. All in all, we suggest taking the job listings with a pinch of salt. And we will likely learn more in the future.
