EA’s Wild Hearts Trailer Will Be Out On 28 September

Earlier this month Electronic Arts announced a hunting game, Wild Hearts, in collaboration with Koei Tecmo’s subsidiary Omega Force, a Japanese anime and video game development company. Koei Tecmo was founded in 2009 with the unification of Koei and Tecmo.

The company is known for developing games of a variety of genres through its subsidiaries. Koei Tecmo’s renowned series include the Atelier series, the Dynasty Warriors series, and the Fatal Frame series. Their most famous series, Dynasty Warriors, was developed by Omega Force.

Today, on Wild Heart’s Twitter handle, it was announced that the first trailer for the game will be revealed on YouTube at the end of September. You may as well catch it during its live premiere on YouTube as well. 

Wild Hearts is a monster-hunting game based in medieval Japan. The game is one of its kind because unlike most monster-hunting games, which are based in the modern era, this game will feature samurai-like fighting.

It remains to be seen what kind of monsters will the game feature. Nevertheless, the poster of the game, which has a wolf, suggests the game will probably have animal monsters.

This project was received with much enthusiasm because Omega Force is known for making successful games that are based on the 11th to 16th centuries. This is their first time developing a monster-hunting game but their fans, who are used to enjoying AAA games from the studio, are not keen to lower their expectations.

With the release of Wild Hearts, EA wishes to tap the potential of the monster-hunting genre. They also aim to compete with Capcom, who already has a revered place in the monster-hunting genre with their Monster Hunter series.

Although it remains to be seen if they plan to make this into a game series. It also depends on Wild Hearts’ success. The release date for Wild Hearts has not been specified. The game’s trailer will be revealed on 28 September.
