It appears that FromSoftware’s chef-d’oeuvre, Elden Ring, has earned yet another outstanding achievement worth commending. As revealed by the devs over on Twitter, the addictive Souls-like has now sold over 25 million copies worldwide, both digital and physical sales combined. The fans have taken to the Elden Ring thread and many other forums across the web to celebrate the huge occasion.

While the new landmark is nothing short of impressive for the Souls-like, many in the community had honestly come to expect it at this point. Elden Ring has continued to sell like hotcakes this year, after all. The devs at FromSoftware have also thanked the community for making such a feat possible.

The Shadow Of The Erdtree Expansion Has Surely Helped 

It is believed that the upcoming DLC dubbed “Shadow of the Erdtree” has played a huge role in boosting these numbers. To put things into perspective, the entry has sold an additional two million copies since February of this year, and it was standing at 20 million copies sold in last year’s February. Many speculate that the expansion’s launch will make the game’s sales skyrocket like it just came out again.
