Two hours of Mafia: Definitive Edition Gameplay has leaked on the Russian site Yandex. The gameplay highlights the first few missions of Tommy Angelo when he drives the mob around Lost Heaven (Chicago) in his Taxi. Further, the gameplay looks to be recorded on Xbox One, at least that’s what the controls tell us.
Here is the gameplay link. Bewarned, because there are potential spoilers. If you have played the original Mafia 2002 game, then this clip will completely shock you. The gameplay is really extraordinary. That is to say, sounds look on point, the open-world environment is very vast. The cars look smooth, and I guess 2K Games will really make up for their poor Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 Definitive Editions through this excellent remake.
Mafia: Definitive Edition Description: “Re-made from the ground up, rise through the ranks of the Mafia during the Prohibition era of organized crime. After a run-in with the mob, cab driver Tommy Angelo is thrust into a deadly underworld. Initially uneasy about falling in with the Salieri crime family, Tommy soon finds that the rewards are too big to ignore”.
Pre-Orders for Mafia: Definitive Edition are available. The game can be pre-ordered as a standalone title or you could get it with the Mafia: Trilogy pack that also consists of the newly remastered Mafia 2 and Mafia 3: Definitive Editions. Pre-ordering the game will also get you “Tommy’s Suit and Cab in both Mafia II and Mafia III Definitive Editions.”
