Insanely Pricey Resident Evil Village Collector’s Edition Revealed

Ready to dole out the big bucks?

Anticipation for Resident Evil Village has been going through the roof lately, with the survival horror creating even more hype ever since its recent showcase. Fans got to see gameplay, better insight into the story, and even an exclusive demo for the PlayStation 5.

However, that’s not all that this thriller has brought to the scene as of late. A very slick Collector’s Edition of the game just emerged on E-Capcom, but good gracious, look at that price!

¥192,500 equals just a shade above $1800, and this is a price point that truly makes collecting hard. That said, for die-hard fans of the series, we presume this amount means little to nothing, and this is where the passion for gaming comes in.

To talk about what’s included in this expensive edition of Resident Evil Village, we were able to spot the following:

  • A PS4/PS5 copy of Resident Evil Village Z that includes several DLCs
  • Artbook
  • Chris Redfield figure
  • Buttonless Chester coat Chris Redfield “Ver”
  • A set of original postcards
  • A set of weapon miniatures

The Buttonless Chester coat is also up for sale separately on the marketplace, but that too comes exorbitantly.

The coat costs around $1500, and this price tag isn’t far from the whole Collector’s Edition. Must be a real piece of work.
