The next LEGO game is currently rumored to be coming, and an insider has spilled some beans with some trustable confirmation as a plus.

A recent insider leak by a TT staff member has provided some significant information about the company’s upcoming plans and what really is going on inside.

The staff member claims the current plan under work is LEGO Batman while the company has scrapped LEGO Disney for now.

The story got highlighted with a tweet by a previous LEGO developer, Stephen Sharples. Stephen says TT gets more leaks than a sieve. Someone in the comments asks for details, and he adds a Fanbyte article and refers to a comment under that article. The actual leak is the comment.

Now the Fanbyte article is from May 2022 and is basically about the mismanagement and crunch culture within TT. The person who claims to be working on TT’s current project, which he said was LEGO Disney, comes forward, stating the project is nothing more than a mess.

However, getting back to the focus, the conversation leads to a major leak that is just recent. This employee states that LEGO Disney was scrapped last year, and TT has now switched to another LEGO Batman game.

He also states that the company also started working on Mandalorian DLC for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

LEGO Batman was released in 2008 as an action-adventure video game, collaborating the favorite DC character Batman with the LEGO toy line. The game was released for all legacy and current-gen consoles, including PC, , and other platforms. 

The game is similar to earlier Lego games. However, Lego Batman is the first to have an original story. The game’s fairly positive reviews led to the development of two sequels Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. Adding a villains-only spin-off, Lego DC Super-Villains.

Batman’s legacy sure can save the said mismanagement within TT because this superhero got fans of all ages and times.

Moreover, about TT Games, after five years and three postponements, TT Games finally launched LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on April 5, 2022.

Glowing reviews of the game surfaced in several publications, highlighting the amazing attention to detail, redesigned combat, and hidden easter eggs for observant players. The upshot is that the game currently has a good Metacritic score of 78.

The game also became 2022’s second quarter’s best-selling premium game and beat Elden Ring for the #1 top seller on Steam.
