- You can suplex cultists with Ashley in the Resident Evil 4 remake by going out of bounds and acquiring a gun.
- Players have to do this in the section where they are controlling Ashley.
- The remake retains this aspect from the original game, which had a popular glitch with a similar ending.
Ashley can mimic Leon’s suplex in the Resident Evil 4 remake, thereby retaining one of the most fun aspects of the original. To get her to do that, though, you will need to step out of bounds, purchase a firearm from the Merchant, and then make the necessary steps to execute the combat move. Pretty surreal for the daughter of the US president.

FluffyQuack on Twitter posted a video showing the President’s daughter performing the move on a cultist. According to FluffyQuack, you have to go out of bounds and buy a gun with Ashley to do the suplex. In addition, players can only do this in the gameplay section where she is playable.
In addition, this is actually a callback to the original game. A glitch in the GameCube version of the horror title allowed you to play as Ashley and suplex enemies. It became popular among the community and was a fun easter egg in the 2005 game. Even though Capcom patched it out from the GameCube edition years later with updates, mods have been able to recreate it on PC.
It’s nice to see that Capcom kept it in the Resident Evil 4 remake, which portrays Ashley a lot differently. Unlike the 2005 game, she is a companion to Leon and not a worrying damsel in distress for the player. Most importantly, you can play Ashley in the remake, even though it is for a short period of time. You have to rescue Leon by using stealth and a lantern in this 10-minute sequence, which is a nice inclusion.
If you want to recreate this glitch in the remake, you have to go out of bounds in this section. The Twitter user didn’t give us a step-by-step tutorial to perform the suplex with Ashley after going out of bounds. But, you can follow this Stlwarzone Plays Games video to create the out-of-bounds glitch in the Resident Evil 4 remake while playing with Ashley to get a gun.
In other news, Resident Evil 4 sold a whopping 3 million copies two days into its release, breaking all previous franchise records. The Capcom title was also a major hit on Steam, garnering more concurrent players than any other Resident Evil game. With a DLC yet to come and fun mods releasing every day, this success is bound to continue. The title is out now for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
