Not much is known at the moment.

Story Highlights

  • RoboCop: Rogue City dev Teyon is hiring to work on a new action RPG for PC and console.
  • It is “backed by a major publisher,” which could be Nacon but remains unconfirmed.
  • The team’s past projects have been successful, so the future of the new game looks bright.

As spotted by industry analyst @MauroNL3 on Twitter, RoboCop: Rogue City dev Teyon is now hiring to work on its new action RPG for PC and console. The listing says that the team that developed the Terminator and the RoboCop entry will work on it using Unreal Engine. It is also “backed by a major publisher,” which could be Nacon or anyone else.

This new action RPG game for PC and console will be developed by the team, responsible for our previous titles Terminator: Resistance and RoboCop: Rogue City,” reads the listing.

Piotr Łatocha, the game director of RoboCop: Rogue City, confirmed in our exclusive interview that Teyon wants to work on more franchises in the future. So, the in-dev game could be a new IP altogether. However, Piotr refused to give any of them away to keep up the suspense.

RoboCop: Rogue City Was Quite A Success For Teyon

For those wondering, the RoboCop game did open new doors for Teyon. Nacon, the game’s publisher, clarified in a report that it exceeded all expectations, hitting record pre-sales. As a result, some dubbed it one of last year’s best sleeper hits. While there was some criticism, the “very positive” Steam ratings speak for themselves. The game makes you feel like an unstoppable tank out for some criminal blood.
