Fog card artifacts in specific locations being impacted due to Frame Generation will now perform as intended. In addition to these adjustments, the developers have made certain announcements regarding several notable concerns. Problems such as progression loss, performance & stability, cross-play, vestiges in new game plus, and enemy density in Lords of the Fallen have been addressed in these notes.

While this is a minor patch, the team has stated that a second update planned for Thursday will resolve many of these prominent issues impacting the player experience. In regards to NG+, as of v1.1.224, players will be able to choose between staying on their current playthrough with a world reset or immediately moving on to the next run.

The upcoming patch will make some more changes to New Game Plus as well. Instead of removing all vestiges, this will now be a gradual process with only a few disappearing in NG1+ and NG+2. From the third run, all but the main hub & Adyr’s Shrine vestige will disappear. Furthermore, the devs have confirmed that an NG+ modifier system is in the works, will include exciting features, and is slated for release before the end of 2023.
