Good news on the Streets of Rage 🙌
Survival mode crashes have been fixed for Nintendo Switch ✨
Playstation & Xbox players this fix is coming to you very soon 🙏 https://t.co/N5fHFYhvwf— Dotemu (@Dotemu) April 6, 2023
A lot of players have been facing errors since a major free update that the title received on March 10 this year. The update added a brand-new custom survival mode in the DLC but ended up making the title unplayable in turn. Several players reported losing their progress no thanks to the slew of crashes that plagued the title.
It seems that the aforementioned survival mode was not yet ready to be in action. As a result, the game ceased to function properly for many devices. On March 13, Team Dotemu took note of Street of Rage 4’s crashing problems and promised fans that they are “investigating to find a fix and update the game ASAP”.
Streets of Rage 4 was released on April 30 for the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch consoles, PC, macOS, and iOS.
