Only a couple of images have been discovered so far, but players are on an active hunt for more. This is the only source of Subnautica 2 content we have seen recently. So, it’s no surprise that the images have caused a surge of excitement to run through the excited community. It remains to be seen if devs will continue to reveal info using these clever tactics in the future.

Subnautica 2 Is A Live-Service Title, But There’s No Reason To Panic

A recent official report by Krafton, the publisher behind the Subnautica sequel, claimed that it was going to be a “games as a service” entry. It caused a lot of uncertainty in the community, so the devs stepped in to clarify that there’d be no season and battle passes, no subscriptions, and no MTX. The tag merely meant that Subnautica 2 would receive continuous upgrades over the years. The clarification surely calmed the players down.
