Suicide Squad’s Brainiac Design Has Leaked Online

He looks too alien for an alien.

Story Highlights

  • An image of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’s Brainiac has been leaked online.
  • Brainiac now looks more purple, far different than the traditional green design.
  • Fans have mixed reactions to the new design, some even comparing the villain’s new look to Voldemort.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is an upcoming live service shooter with a fairly enticing plotline surrounding it. The main antagonist, which has been foreshadowed to be Brainiac, has not been revealed up until now, but as per a new leak first surfacing on the r/SuicideSquadGaming subreddit, we may now have our first look at what appears to be the title’s primary villain.

The design is definitely far from the typical green Brainiac we are used to. Rocksteady’s version of Brainiac is more alien than ever, looking more purple than the OG green, and has incredible details. Fans are completely divided on Brainiac’s design, with many going as far as saying that the villain looks oddly similar to “Voldemort.”

Some fans say that he looks too alien, while others say that the Injustice 2 Brainiac design was better. The decision of the game developers to ditch the green seemed to be a bold design choice to many. Fans are also speculating that the design might be inspired by the New 52 when he loses all his armor.

While Brainiac now looks more extraterrestrial than before, the redesign is definitely an interesting one. Furthermore, it’s nice to see how developers chose to keep the three-circle motif or the forehead diodes for the villain, even though they made him more purple instead of the iconic green.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is an upcoming action shooter game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros Games. The game follows four supervillains, namely Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, recruited by Amanda Waller from Metropolis to battle against the main villain, Brainiac.

Rocksteady’s latest venture is set to release on February 2, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5 and has a preorder bonus that fans can check out as well.
