WoW: Tides of Vengeance all set for a December release

The World of Warcraft happens to be one of the biggest, most famous and loved Role Playing Game franchises there exist to date. Dating back to early 2004, when it was first launched, the game has gained many fans following it since then. The game and its online presence have often been upgraded, facing minimum down times and acquiring a lot of new and unique content.

Talking about updates, the biggest patch for the Battle of Azeroth is coming later this year. Dubbed as the Tides of Vengeance, this patch would be an incremental update to the title.

The update in terms of the story comes along the lines of the Night Elves fighting to avenge their lost home while the Alliance goes toe to toe against the Horde. This would mark the first time that the Alliance would be going against the Horde in the World of Warcraft. All the meanwhile, this battle would be taking place in the area called Darkshore, belonging to the Night Elves. A cutscene for the battle was shown during the panel talk at BlizzCon 18. Among other additions with this upcoming update, smaller raids will be coming along with it and not only that but new islands would be available for discovery.

The update is set to arrive on December 11th, this year in North America.
