The launch of Wuthering Waves was chock-full of issues, but Kuro Games is more than familiar with the overall situation. The studio has published a lengthy blog that discusses the state of the launch and notes down future adjustment plans to improve the game. It mentions that the devs were “disheartened” by the messy release and are ready to commit to resolving all the annoying glitches.
Since Wuthering Wave’s official global launch, we have been disheartened by our inability to provide a high-quality gaming experience to all Rovers. We understand that continuously releasing better versions and content is our goal and mission, and we will always strive to uphold them,” reads the blog.
The blog dives into all the major problems during the Wuthering Waves launch, including feedback about “Echo Development” feeling grindy. The devs plan to launch a limited-time Echo material double yield event, followed by an adjusted progression system, increased yield of Echo and Echo development materials, and much more in subsequent updates to address it.

Kuro Games also discusses player feedback about combat, regarding poor experience in autoaiming and lock-on, controls, and the like. The devs plan to tackle each criticism by improving the combat mechanic in various ways in subsequent updates. Similarly, many other issues and the studio’s plan to resolve them are discussed in the blog, with the final goal being to make the RPG as flawless as possible.
