Cyberpunk 2077 Could Be Heading Towards Nintendo Switch

Wow, that's interesting.

Just as we tremble upon more Cyberpunk 2077 Development Disasters, a new picture of Nintendo Switch has leaked that appears to be a Cyberpunk 2077 Edition. Along with that, the picture also features an Amiibo Copy of V coupled with Cyberpunk 2077’s physical copy.

Bigger Picture.

Obviously, there are no confirmations about this, and in the past few weeks, there have been many videos circulating regarding Cyberpunk 2077 running on Switch, and they are doing tremendously well. This, along with the already dropping stocks and failure, could be the reason CD Projekt would want to make a strong comeback and release it on Nintendo Switch.

It’s reasonable to presume this game would be a horror to run on Nintendo Switch. But, if we go back to the past, we had the same thoughts when Witcher 3 for Switch was announced, but later it turned out to run fabulously. Moreover, if we go further back, we have seen GTA 5 run on Xbox 360 and PS3. This concludes that, at the end of the day, these games run poorly because they aren’t optimized well. On the other hand, some petitions on-going demand the release of Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch.

Suppose, Cyberpunk 2077 somewhat releases on Switch. It could potentially prove to be a successful move, and here is why.

  1.  Nintendo Switch has gone absolutely bonkers this year; its sales are doing tremendously well across all countries.
  2. CD Projekt’s on-going crisis could be minimized if they decide to release an optimized Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch, which would boost its sales and bring back investors’ confidence. This could then be expanded with proper releases for Xbox Series X and PS5.

Obviously, these are my thoughts, and again, we aren’t sure about the authenticity of the leak, so take this with a grain of salt.

Author Notes: The prints and everything look spot on, and who would go through all this mess to make a fake prototype. But then again, it seems very unlikely, especially with the Lite text on the bottom right. A cloud version wouldn’t be too bad either.
