According to the product description on Amazon, Loop8: Summers of Gods is a turn-based coming-of-age RPG game that lets you step into the life of Nini, who arrives in the Japanese town of Ashihara in August 1983. The game focuses on exploring the town, befriending people, and taking part in turn-based combat against the Kegai.
Nini will be forced into a loop, as the game’s name suggests. And will be able to change the future and save the world by altering the past. The game will feature multiple endings based on your decisions.
Loop8: Summer of Gods has some impressive talent, such as Yoichi Miyaji, Shingo Adachi, and En Morikura, in the game’s development team.
The game’s official trailer was released on September 12, 2022. The game sets in a peaceful Japanese countryside setting, which is a bit different from the modern JRPGs we see these days.
