EA Motive‘s Iron Man is an upcoming single-player, action-adventure. The much-anticipated game was first announced back in September of this year.
It is a joint collaboration between EA Motive, Canadian video game developers based in Montreal, and Marvel Games.
The new Iron Man game has piqued gamers’ curiosity due to the fact that the game has been referred to as a truly unique experience. In fact Motive’s general manager Patrick Klaus said that it’s “the opportunity of a lifetime.”
Major Takeaways:
- According to the EA testing website, Iron Man is in its playtesting phase.
- It started today and will continue till the 2nd of November.
It has been a hot minute since the game’s official announcement and the heat had finally settled down. Fans were not really anticipating hearing more about the game for a while now.
However, today something truly shocking has come out about Motive Studio’s upcoming Iron Man game. Let us take about that!
According to Tom Henderson’s InsiderGaming, the game’s official playtesting has begun. As per the dates seen floating around, the playtesting started today October 31, 2022, and will continue till the 2nd of the next month. Looking a bit deeper into Iron Man’s playtesting, it will be a one-on-one that will be taking place at the studio.
Although these sessions have been given the name of playtesting, they seem to be more towards getting detailed feedback from the players. While we, of course, do not know what these testers will be critiquing it is safe to assume they will include plot points, game mechanics, and different types of game modes.
The developers have really hyped up the overall gameplay and plot points. According to their official site, the game will include a unique tale that draws from Iron Man’s rich lore while channeling the subtlety, magnetism, and creative genius of Tony Stark. This will give gamers a sense of what it would be like to actually play Iron Man.
As per the official EA testing website, its stated,
Get an inside look at a game/product and talk through your experience directly with an EA Researcher. They will ask you questions about your experiences, preferences, and other areas of interest. These conversations typically last between 30 and 120 minutes, and may happen online or in person at one of our Player Experience Labs.”
Fans could not be happier with the whole ordeal. Having playtests only a month after the game’s announcement may mean that we could get our hands on Iron Man sooner than expected. Fans have really high hopes for the game. One such fan states, “Can’t wait for this. I believe in Motive.”
Needless to say, we are all waiting to see what new adventure Iron Man awaits. Are you excited to play the game? Do let us know in the comments below.
