A dedicated Halo Infinite player has spent the last four weeks entirely engrossed in the game in order to achieve the final Halo Infinite Career Rank, Hero singlehandedly. This steadfast Halo fan who goes by the username “CHL Shade” embarked on two marathon gaming sessions, each lasting an uninterrupted 39 hours, during these four weeks. On a daily average, they dedicated an astounding 16 hours to playing Halo Infinite.
Achieving this milestone, this incredibly devoted fan has now accumulated an insane number of 9.3 million XP, and that too in just 4 weeks. With an unparalleled level of commitment and skill, CHL Shade has etched their name in the history of the Halo series as the first-ever player to reach the coveted Hero Rank. Their unmatched achievement was shared online by a Halo-dedicated fan account, Rebs Gaming.
We decided to investigate further and discovered CHL Shade’s Leaf profile, a website devoted to Halo Infinite stats. According to the site, they have spent a whopping 312 hours on Season 4, also known as Infection. This means that even if they started playing Infection four weeks ago, they spent an average of 12 hours daily. More precisely if they played 16 hours a day, they took at least two offs a week. This sounds even more phenomenal because of the even shorter time frame.
More into this, online reactions suggest the grind for Hero Rank might not feel rewarding enough, with current rewards limited to nameplates and emblems for weapons and vehicles only. However, 343 Industries might be planning some good news for the passionate players who are laboring hard toward significant achievement.
In a reply made to the Twitch streamer iSpiteful, where he questioned the rewarding system for career ranks, Halo Infinite Community Director, Brian Jarrard asked the fans to stay tuned on the matter.
Halo Infinite Season 4, Infection was launched on June 20th this year. The update is free to all Halo Infinite players on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
