Story Highlights
- If a slip of the tongue from Larry Lawton is true, Ned Luke could be returning in GTA 6 as Michael.
- In the interview with the YouTuber, the actor quickly painted this reveal from Lawton as a “senior moment.”
- We’ll have to wait until 2025 to find out the truth when GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
In a new interview with Ned Luke, YouTuber Larry Lawton hinted that the actor is returning to portray Michael in GTA 6. While introducing Luke at the 0:26 mark in the video, Lawton says he is interviewing Michael from GTA V and GTA 6, leading to a startled reaction from Ned Luke. The actor hurriedly addressed this slip of information, saying that the nature of the upcoming action-adventure title is unknown and he wants to make that clear.
Luke doubled down even further, saying Lawton just had a “senior moment” and you can’t do anything about that. Now, this could very well be misinformation or a small mistake from Larry Lawton. But, the YouTuber does say he is close with Ned Luke at the start, and seeing the actor’s reaction, it does feel like some undisclosed info may have slipped out.
Of course, only time can tell whether this is true or just a hoax as GTA 6 doesn’t come out for another 2 years. According to the game’s mega-hit trailer, the Rockstar open-world title is set to release sometime in 2025. PC players will have to wait even longer as the developer is only releasing GTA 6 on consoles in 2025 due to an apparent lack of resources.
On a side note, check out the following video to learn our expectations for the next entry in the franchise.
But, one thing is for sure, the hype for the Rockstar title is at an all-time high after its record-breaking teaser. The GTA 6 trailer showcased the game’s lifelike setting of Leonida by recreating viral events that took place in its real-life counterpart of Florida. And, even with this short teaser, the game has already started piling up controversies, with the Florida Joker threatening to sue Rockstar for parodying him in the trailer
GTA 6 will launch globally on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S in 2025.
