All Flower Locations In A Plague Tale Requiem

Read our guide on the Herbalist Trophy which covers All 5 Flowers along with their locations in A Plague Tale: Requiem.

Even after three years since the first installment, Hugo’s passion for flowers has not died down in ‘A Plague Tale: Requiem‘. In Asobo Studios’ latest release, you will continue collecting flowers as Amicia and Hugo in the war-struck land of Provence. So to help you out, we have curated a guide that covers All Flower Locations in A Plague Tale Requiem.

Key Takeaways
  • Flowers return in A Plague Tale Requiem as a Collectible, players need to keep a keen eye on their surroundings to find them.
  • You can gather these flowers across Provence and equip them as a cosmetic for Amicia.
  • In total, there are 5 Flowers in the game, which include:
    • Arrowhead.
    • Chamomile.
    • Gentian.
    • Anemone.
    • Carnation.
  • Upon collecting all the flowers, the player will achieve the “Herbalist Trophy” in A Plague Tale Requiem.

Whenever the player picks up a flower, Amicia will tuck it in her hair. You can also switch the flower you equip in-game by going to the ‘Hugo’s Collection‘ tab through the menu. Picking the flowers is quite easy. However, the challenging part is to locate them since they appear very rarely in A Plague Tale Requiem.

The Flowers are spread across the Provence; you will find about 4 of them during the first half of the game. At the same time, the final flower can only be obtained once you reach the ending sections of the game. Once you get hold of all 5 flowers in A Plague Tale Requiem, you will unlock the ‘Herbalist Trophy‘. With that said, let’s now list down all the locations where you can find flowers for Amicia. We will try our best to keep this guide Spoiler-Free.

All Flower Locations In A Plague Tale Requiem

If you’re a completionist, then it’s crucial that you go through our guide. Reading through it will help you in collecting all the flowers without missing out on any of them during your gameplay. The 5 flowers are scattered across five different chapters in A Plague Tale Requiem.

As we mentioned earlier, the first 4 Flowers can be found within the first five chapters of the game. For the last flower, you will need to play the rest of the game and reach the 16th chapter of A Plague Tale Requiem. Out of the 5 flowers, the Arrowhead and Carnation are almost unmissable since Lucas will point them out for you. While the other three will require a bit of exploration (especially the Anemone Flower).

With that out of the way, let us now begin listing down the locations of All Flowers in A Plague Tale Requiem, which will help you achieve the Herbalist Trophy

Arrowhead (Flower #1)

After being stuck underground in the ‘Newcomers’ Chapter, Amicia and Lucas will use their intelligence to get out of the chambers. Here you will need to solve a few puzzles and deal with some rats before you make it out.

Once you’re back in the town with the tower in sight, Lucas will point out a Vegetable Garden. Followed by an exclaimed mark made towards a flower. The First Flower is almost impossible to miss since Lucas mentions it and even stands next to it. You, as Amicia, can then walk over to the flower and pluck it from the ground and place it in her hair.

With that, you will acquire the Arrowhead flower, which is quite easy to collect since it’s the first one in A Plague Tale Requiem.

Chamomile (Flower #2)

Second Flower Location [Image Credit: eXputer]
The Second Flower in A Plague Tale Requiem comes under iffy circumstances. During the ‘A Burden of Blood’ Chapter, you will be under stressful conditions. Hence, it is highly possible that you may miss out on the Chamomile flower.

In order to make sure that you acquire the 2nd Flower, keep your eyes peeled when you’re trying to reach the Herbalist Forest. When you pass through a tight wall gap, you will end up in an eerie-looking garden. Here Lucas and Amicia will be trying to find the Nightshade.

On your left, you will notice a Big Tree that has a ladder resting against it. Scanning through the branches of this tree, you will notice a Hanging Basket. Equip your slingshot and charge it up to break the lock on top of the basket to make it fall. You can then head towards it and collect the Chamomile Flower from the broken basket.

Gentian (Flower #3)

Third Flower Location [Image Credit: eXputer]
The Third Flower can be found during the ‘Protector’s Duty‘, which is the 4th Chapter in A Plague Tale Requiem. We can’t talk much about the story during this phase because that would give out some major spoilers. To keep things at a minimum, Amicia and Lucas will be tasked to find the Order’s Boat at the docks.

Once you reach the shore, you will be able to see multiple abandoned ships and boats. Walk along the shoreline until you reach the docks on your left. Ignore the boat for now and gaze through the plants on your right. Eventually, you will notice a bunch of purple flowers.

Head towards it and interact with them to obtain the Gentian Flower in A Plague Tale Requiem. The third flower should be pretty easy to find, especially for players who are keen to explore their surroundings.

Anemone (Flower #4)

The Fourth Flower can be obtained during the ‘In Our Wake‘ Chapter in A Plague Tale Requiem. The Anemone flower is by far the hardest one to get. If you’re someone who does not like to explore and interact with the surroundings, then it’s highly possible that you will miss out on this flower.

Luckily, our guide will cut your time and make the process a lot quicker for you. During the chapter, Amicia will need to find a way back to the boat. As you progress through the area, you will come across a secret chest, after which you will end up at a Bridge that is under construction.

Head towards the leftmost section of the bridge. Here you will notice a chain holding up a plank, and you can use Amicia’s slingshot to Break the Chain. After you break the chain, the plank will fall in place over the bridge. Under the bridge, you can find a cart that you can push next to an elevated platform. After putting the cart in place, climb on top of it and reach the bridge you just opened up.

Continue progressing through the bridge until you reach a rock. Climb over it as well, and you will end up on a cliff that has a few plants placed conveniently on its edge. Lean over and collect the Anemone Flower in A Plague Tale Requiem to further progress your Herbalist Trophy grind.

Carnation (Flower #5)

The first four flowers can be found within the first 5 Chapters of A Plague Tale Requiem. However, the Fifth Flower in the game will only be accessible right at the end of the game during the 16th Chapter called ‘King Hugo‘. Similar to the first flower, the Carnation Flower is difficult to miss during the game.

We did mention slight details about the chapter in our previous flower guides. However, for the final flower, we will restrain from adding any details about the setting of this chapter as it could potentially spoil the game for you.

With that said, Amicia will be exploring an area with her companions during the early sections of the 16th Chapter. At one point, Lucas will yet again point out a flower and kneel next to it. You can instantly head over to the location and pick up the Carnation Flower, which is the final one in A Plague Tale Requiem.

The Herbalist Trophy

Once you completely collect all the Flowers in A Plague Tale Requiem, you will ultimately earn the prestigious ‘Herbalist Trophy‘. For those who like to grind out games and reach platinum status, it will be essential to obtain all 5 flowers. When it comes to trophies, the Herbalist is a fairly easy trophy to achieve, especially for those players who like to explore all surroundings.

The only challenging bit of this trophy is the Anemone Flower. It is the only flower that requires you to solve a puzzle in order to reach it. To make things easier for you, we have listed down all the chapters that you should keep an eye out for a while collecting All Flowers in A Plague Tale Requiem.

  1. Newcomers (2nd Chapter)
  2. A Burden of Blood (3rd Chapter)
  3. Protector’s Duty (4th Chapter)
  4. In Our Wake (5th Chapter)
  5. King Hugo (16th Chapter)

Wrap Up

With that, we reach the end of our quick guide about where you can find the flowers in A Plague Tale Requiem. In order to collect them all and obtain the Herbalist Trophy, it is essential to complete the full game since the final flower (Carnation) is found at the end of the game. Regardless of that, our guide will make pointing these flowers out much easier for you. In no time, your Flower collection will be full, and you can tuck the one you like in Amicia’s hair.
