Even three years after the first installment, Hugo’s passion for flowers has not died down in ‘A Plague Tale: Requiem‘. In Asobo Studios’ latest release, you will continue collecting flowers as Amicia and Hugo in the war-struck land of Provence. So, to help you, I have curated a guide covering All Flower Locations in A Plague Tale Requiem.
All Flower Locations In A Plague Tale Requiem
With that out of the way, here is a summary listing the locations of All Flowers in A Plague Tale Requiem, which will help you achieve the Herbalist Trophy:
|Chapter 2: Newcomers
|Chapter 3: A Burden Of Blood
|Chapter 4: Protector's Duty
|Chapter 5: In Our Wake
|Chapter 16: King Hugo
Arrowhead (Flower #1)After being stuck underground in the ‘Newcomers’ Chapter, Amicia and Lucas will use their intelligence to escape the chambers. You must solve a few puzzles and deal with some rats before you make it out.
Once you’re back in the town with the tower in sight, Lucas will point out a Vegetable Garden. Followed by an exclaimed mark made towards a flower. The First Flower is almost impossible to miss since Lucas mentions it and even stands beside it. You, as Amicia, can then walk over to the flower, pluck it from the ground, and place it in her hair.
With that, you will acquire the Arrowhead flower, which is easy to collect since it’s the first in A Plague Tale Requiem.
Chamomile (Flower #2)The Second Flower in A Plague Tale Requiem comes under iffy circumstances. You will be under stressful conditions during the ‘A Burden of Blood’ Chapter. Hence, you may miss out on the Chamomile flower.
To ensure you acquire the 2nd Flower, keep your eyes peeled when reaching the Herbalist Forest. You will end up in an eerie-looking garden when you pass through a tight wall gap. Here, Lucas and Amicia will be trying to find the Nightshade.
On your left, you will notice a Big Tree with a ladder resting against it. Scanning through the branches of this tree, you will notice a Hanging Basket. Equip your slingshot and charge it up to break the lock on top of the basket to make it fall. You can then head towards it and collect the Chamomile Flower from the broken basket.
Gentian (Flower #3)The Third Flower can be found during the ‘Protector’s Duty‘, the 4th Chapter in A Plague Tale Requiem. We can’t talk much about the story during this phase because that would give out some major spoilers. Amicia and Lucas will be tasked to find the Order’s Boat at the docks to keep things at a minimum.
Once you reach the shore, you can see multiple abandoned ships and boats. Walk along the shoreline until you reach the docks on your left. Ignore the boat for now and gaze through the plants on your right. Eventually, you will notice a bunch of purple flowers.
Head towards it and interact with them to obtain the Gentian Flower in A Plague Tale Requiem. The third flower should be easy to find, especially for players keen to explore their surroundings.
Anemone (Flower #4)Obtain the Fourth Flower in the ‘In Our Wake’ Chapter of A Plague Tale Requiem, with the challenging Anemone flower being the most elusive. If exploration isn’t your preference, you might miss it. Follow my guide for efficiency. In the chapter, as Amicia seeks the boat, you will discover a secret chest leading to a construction site bridge.
Navigate to the left section, spot a chain supporting a plank, and use Amicia’s slingshot to Break the Chain. Once done, the plank falls into place. Beneath the bridge, locate a cart to push beside an elevated platform. After positioning the cart, climb atop it to access the opened bridge.
Progress until a rock impedes your way. Climb over it to reach a cliff with conveniently placed plants. Lean over, collect the Anemone Flower in A Plague Tale Requiem, advancing your Herbalist Trophy pursuit.
Carnation (Flower #5)The first four flowers are in the first 5 Chapters of A Plague Tale Requiem. However, the Fifth Flower in the game will only be accessible right at the end of the game during the 16th Chapter called ‘King Hugo‘. Like the first flower, the Carnation Flower is difficult to miss during the game.
We did mention slight details about the chapter in our previous flower guides. However, for the final flower, we will refrain from adding any details about the setting of this chapter as it could potentially spoil the game for you.
That said, Amicia will explore an area with her companions during the early sections of the 16th Chapter. At one point, Lucas will again point out a flower and kneel next to it. You can instantly head to the location and pick up the Carnation Flower, the final one in A Plague Tale Requiem.
The Herbalist Trophy
Once you completely collect all the Flowers in A Plague Tale Requiem, you will ultimately earn the prestigious ‘Herbalist Trophy‘. For those who like to grind out games and reach platinum status, it will be essential to obtain all 5 flowers. Regarding trophies, the Herbalist is a fairly easy trophy to achieve, especially for those players who like to explore all surroundings.
The only challenging bit of this trophy is the Anemone Flower. It is the only flower that requires you to solve a puzzle to reach it. To make things easier for you, we have listed all the chapters you should watch while collecting All Flowers in A Plague Tale Requiem.
- Newcomers (2nd Chapter)
- A Burden of Blood (3rd Chapter)
- Protector’s Duty (4th Chapter)
- In Our Wake (5th Chapter)
- King Hugo (16th Chapter)
With that, we end our quick guide about where to find the flowers in A Plague Tale Requiem. It is essential to complete the full game to collect them all and obtain the Herbalist Trophy since the final flower (Carnation) is found at the end of the game. Regardless, my guide will make pointing these flowers out much easier. Your Flower collection will be full in no time, and you can tuck the one you like in Amicia’s hair.
