How To Get Shells In Lego Fortnite?

Struggling to get your hands on shells in Lego Fortnite? Well, I must admit that collecting shells can be a little tedious since Rollers are not that easily found. You can’t skip this resource either because it’s needed for some major upgrades and crafting recipes in the early game. However, if you know the right tricks to spot and beat a roller you’ll have multiple shells in no time!

How To Find Shells?

Finding shells may sound easy but it’s one of the first hurdles you might face in your all-new Lego world. Shells can be acquired by finding and beating Rollers.

• This creature type is known to bury itself in the ground, camouflaging itself as a plant.
• However, once you get close to it, the Roller will pop out and (you guessed it!) roll towards you.
• Defeating the Roller is easy, as long as you have a steady hand on the dodging mechanism in Lego Fortnite.

Finding a Roller can be a challenging task. Rollers have multiple variants in the game which is something I struggled with during my initial hours in the game. For “Shells” you need to locate rollers present in the Grasslands biome. Take them down and you’ll obtain a single Shell.

Uses Of Shells

Shells generally have multiple uses. It’s used in plenty of crafting recipes and upgrades. However, upgrading the crafting bench (you’ll need 3x Shells) is the most important use of shells in the game. Without it, you won’t be able to progress your village.

Apart from that, players can also use Shells you craft Health Charms, which is yet another crucial item that I used a lot in the early game!
