How To Redeem RDR2 Cheat Codes
Just knowing about the cheat codes does us no good; we need to enter these codes and redeem them for their rewards to complete this task. Fortunately for us, entering these codes is no big deal whether you are on PS4 or Xbox. Follow the steps below and enter your codes using the steps exactly as mentioned below; this way, you will not face any errors.
- Once you are in the game, save beforehand and Pause your game.
- Enter into the Settings menu.
- Press the Triangle (∆) button on PS4 or the Y button on Xbox One.
- Once in the cheats menu, press ∆/Y again to open up the cheat redemption box.
- Input your cheat code and submit it.

Once you have submitted your code, you will be shown a Confirmation message, and this means your code was successfully redeemed.
Code Redeem Requirements In RDR2
As evident from the list above, certain codes have requirements before they can be redeemed. Most of the requirements are to Purchase a Newspaper, but for most cheat codes, the newspaper is bought at different times.
How To Get Newspaper
Newspapers are available after completing different Chapters, and buying a newspaper after each chapter will unlock a new cheat code. Vendors selling newspapers are scattered throughout the map; you can find vendors using the paper icon on the map. Newspapers must be in your inventory before redeeming certain codes.
There are a total of 3 publications that sell newspapers, each catering to a specific area. Imagine a turf war, but for newspaper rights. When you unlock 1 newspaper edition, a newer edition is released. The 3 publications are called Blackwater Ledger, New Hanover Gazette, and Saint Dennis Times.
