Before using the Energy Cells, one must know how to get them in Legends of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Players will obtain the Energy Cells from the same Steward Construct that gave you the Purah Pad

This construct will approach you after you have completed the In-isa Shrine. One can reach this shrine during the quest- Great Sky Island– Find Princes Zelda and The Closed Door quest.

How To Upgrade The Energy Cells

In order to upgrade the Energy Cells, I would need to visit the Central Hyrule, ideally, just fast traveling to the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. From there, I will turn left and approach a structure that somewhat looks like a shrine. Here I can talk with the Steward Construct.

This Steward Construct will offer the service of producing Energy Wells. These Energy Wells increase the maximum amount of energy that can be stored in Energy Cells. This construct will also charge 100 crystalized charges to craft an Energy Cell, so keep that in mind before you visit it.

Please keep in mind that this is not the only Steward Construct that can craft Energy Wells, and there are other constructs as well in Tears of the Kingdom that offer this service.

How To Get Crystalized Charges

If one wishes to obtain Crystalized Charges, then the very first thing they will need to get Zonaite, then players will need to visit a Forge Construct. The construct we will recommend visiting is located in the depths. A Forge Construct is located in the Great Abandoned Mines, so if you have Zonaite and wish to get Crstalized Charges, then consider this your next destination.

Once you reach the Forge Construct, then you’ll need to take a look at its wares, and you will see the option to trade three Zonaites for a Crystalized Charge.
