Nikke Goddess of Victory Tier List: All Characters Ranked

Discover the God-like characters in the Nikke Goddess of Victory.

Nikke Goddess of Victory is a third-person immersive sci-fi RPG shooting game that is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the surface of the Earth was overthrown by mechanical aliens. The surviving humans fled underground and produced artificial soldiers called Nikkes. The story follows a Commander and his squad of Nikkes who hope to reclaim the surface. Due to its massive following, we have decided to come up with a Nikke tier list, which will help you understand each character and their strengths & weaknesses.

Key Highlights
  • The Nikke Goddess Of Victory has an ever-growing roster, but as of now, there are 84 playable characters.
  • Modernia, Scarlet, Rupee, Alice, Drake, Privaty, and Snow White are the most potent attackers in the game because of their high DPS. At the same time, the new addition Power is also a great alternative.
  • The best support units in the game are considered to be Dolla, Noise, Pepper, Emma, and Soda
  • Centi and Jackal act as the best defenders in the game because of their tanking abilities.
  • In the Nikke tier list, Liter is the best all-rounder.
  • The constructs are ranked based on their skills and compatibility with other characters.

Before we begin, let us have a quick look at the comparison between all the characters in Nikke Goddes of Victory:

S Tier

The premium spot in the Nikke tier list goes to the S-Tier Attackers. They inflict the most damage compared to every character in the game and are important if you want to make your team OP.

Scarlet

  • Electric
  • Assault Rifle
  • Scarlet remains strong in both the early and late games.
  • Scarlet is arguably the best attacker in the game. She proves herself to be amazing in almost every situation because of her divine ST DPS, AoE burst, AR range, and RoF. She has no problem scaling with reload speed buffs. Her passive skill not only boosts CRIT damage but also boosts ATK. Also, her passive skills reduce HP as well. Scarlet goes well with Privaty, as recommended by some of the players in the game.

Rupee

  • Iron
  • Assault Rifle
  • Rupee is outstanding in the early and late games.
  • With an amazing DPS, which comes along with a permanent self-attack buff, Rupee is a force to reckon with. She has a strong team attack buff and does not even need Iron synergy to be strong. Her burst skill allows her to boost the ATK of her allies, but only when mileage is full. You can use her Passive skill to increase Mileage.

Alice

  • Fire
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Alice is not all that strong in the early game, however, she starts getting stronger in the late game.
  • Alice has an amazing AoE from her pierce but has to have more than 80% health for it. However, that’s not that difficult to achieve since her passive skill allows her to help herself by recovering HP. She has astounding self-DPS buffs on burst, which scale very well with charge speed and reload speed buffs.

Drake

  • Fire
  • Shotgun
  • Drake is a superstar in both early and late games.
  • If you are doing boss battles, Drake is the character you need to have in your corner. She eats bosses for dinner because of her awesome shotgun DPS and her even stronger DPS buffer. Her passive skills improve the hit rate of her allies and improve ATK. Her burst skill increases max ammo and deals damage.

Privaty

  • Water
  • Assault Rifle.
  • Privaty does well in the late game but is weaker in the early game.
  • Privaty is a chameleon, and she does well in almost any team. She has last bullet support and fast reload speed. Her passive skills boost reload speed and ATK of her allies. Her burst deals damage and stuns.

Snow White

  • Iron
  • Assault Rifle
  • Snow white is not that intimidating in the early game, but she goes into beast mode in the late game.
  • Her astounding DPS with a strong burst allows great manual play. However, she isn’t all that strong in auto. Her skills allow for awesome penetration and improve her CRIT and ATK.

Modernia

  • Fire
  • Minigun
  • Performs spectacularly in both Early and Late Game content of Nikke Goddess of Victory.
  • From the time of launch, the Nikke Goddess of Victory game has seen the first of Modernia’s kind–a Pilgrim carrying a minigun/light machine gun. Fortunately, the hype about her release was worth it since Modernia is genuinely one of the best characters for all metas of the game. Thanks to her Burst skill, Modernia outputs a mind-blowing performance, especially in the story stages.

A Tier

If the A-tier attackers are used effectively, they are second to none. They might inflict less damage than the S-tier attackers, but if they are used in the right way, then they can guarantee the same results. In our Nikke tier list, these attackers rank just below the S-Tier attackers.

Harran

  • Electric
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Harran’s strength remains as powerful as ever throughout the game.
  • Harran has amazing energy generation and receives an AR range bonus. She is an amazing A-tier unit, as she can even beat Scarlet in terms of damage when in optimal play. However, she might struggle if she cannot stack kills. Her skills deal damage over time, increase her CRIT rate, and also grant her penetration.

Laplace

  • Iron
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Laplace is weak at starting out but gradually gains her strength as the game progresses.
  • Laplace is a good choice for energy support and for providing AoE. She does not deal much damage, and her burst skill needs to be used strategically to prove useful.

Sugar

  • Iron
  • Shotgun
  • As powerful as they come in both the early and late games.
  • Sugar is the staple in shotgun teams, as she maxes ammo buff to other shotguns and has exceptional shotgun DPS. Her passive increases her SPD and CRIT damage.

Viper

  • Iron
  • Shotgun
  • Viper rattles her enemies in both early and late games.
  • Viper is one of the latest editions in Nikke: Goddess of War. With her burst skill, she reduces the DEF of an enemy. One of the advantages of having her is that she can increase the ATK of her allies.

Power

  • Fire
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Good in the Early game and decent for the late game. She will cover both multi and target situations well.
  • Power is known for self-stacking a handsome amount of ATK buffs and bonking opponents to the blood and shadow realm through the onboard Burst skill. Excellent energy generation is also Power’s core ability. Nevertheless, this jack of all trades isn’t a specialist of any one purpose.

B Tier

Nikke tier list’s B-grade attackers do not inflict much damage, but they are not too bad. You can still win matches with these attackers, and they act as good replacements for higher-tier attackers.

Guilty

  • Wind
  • Shotgun
  • Guilty can make you run scared, as she is amazing in both the early and late games.
  • Guilty possesses incredible strength and also has a DEF debuff.

Epinel

  • Wind
  • Submachine Gun
  • Epinel’s strength does not deteriorate throughout the game.
  • Even though she struggles when she is not able to stack skills, she has a very strong self-attack buff on kill. Her passive increases critical damage and boosts ATK for herself.

Helm

  • Water
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Helm can turn the match upside down, whether it is an early game or a late game.
  • Helm brings value to the game by providing lifesteal on burst and a good attack and critical rate buff. She also brings a peculiar but good utility in bonus boss weakness damage.

Milk

  • Water
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Milk is good to use in the early game, but you cannot rely on her in the late game.
  • Milk provides lifesteal on 40s burst. She also has a powerful attack buff that can affect 2 allies with the strongest attack.

Aria

  • Water
  • Machine Gun
  • She might not be the strongest in the early game, but she more than makes up for it in the late game.
  • Aria has a good DPS with good critical support. She proves to be a decent shielder.

Brid

  • Water
  • Assault Rifle
  • Brid is a beast in the late game but not so much in the early ones.
  • Even though Brid has an amazing damage burst and good DPS, it is ST. This requires her to have max HP, which can prove to be very difficult in most cases.

Maxwell

  • Iron
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Maxwell is particularly weak in the early games but gets stronger in the late game.
  • Maxwell possesses a charge time reduction buff on full burst and also has serious burst damage.

Vesti

  • Water
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Vesti will kick her enemies out of the match in late games but gets kicked out in the early game.
  • Vesti gives most of her value in longer fights, like boss fights, in which she can stack her skills. She has faster rotations with CDR because she can lower full burst duration.

Yulha

  • Fire
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Strong in both early and late games.
  • She might have a long cooldown, but there is no doubt that Yulha is the strongest attack buff in the game. Her burst skill deals damage and passive boosts critical rate.

Neve

  • Water
  • Shotgun
  • Neve is an amazing character throughout the whole game.
  • Neve has the ability to go head-on with SSR shotguns in terms of DPS. Neve targets the enemy who has low HP and can boost crit and hit for herself.

Nihilister

  • Fire
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Fine for Early game. Avoid picking her in Late Game, or you will regret the hefty unlock mechanism.
  • She has got pretty interesting skills that render up to 160% ATK as additional damage and also give the character nearly permanent Pierce effects. Moreover, Nihilister has got slightly improved Burst Energy generation than most others wielding the same weapon as her. When paired with the right team, Nihilister shines only if you are up for the tedious late-game unlock needs.

D

  • Wind
  • Submachine Gun
  • Suitable for Early game battles and against certain bosses. Won’t prove vital as the content progresses.
  • The SMG employer D is a Burst III character who primarily manifests strength against Bosses thanks to her extra damaging perk that empowers the entire ally team. For instance, you can start battles with instant Burst, relish 15-sec Burst windows, and avail stun immunity. D is also spectacular in terms of offering support against the Iron-type bosses, like Grave Digger. Nevertheless, other boss parts, PvP meta, and Story are not the best situations to place D.

Noir

  • Wind
  • Shotgun
  • It cannot be concluded this early; however, her Kit seems fit for early to mid-game unless paired with a more robust unit.
  • Although highly recommended to work well with Blanc, the on-offer kit shows Noir can be sufficient for the B3 attacker domain on her own. Moreover, Noir can muster up the strength to buff up almost the entire ally side’s attack if players ensure the health is no less than 70%. Overall the new release will not disappoint since she can simultaneously dish out good damage and buffs.

C Tier

After C-tier, attackers slowly start resorting to pathetic. They have weak damage and do not add much value to your team.

Volume

  • Wind
  • Submachine Gun
  • Volume is great in both early and late games.
  • Provides great CDR and CRIT buffs to the whole team and does decent damage once she is able to gain kills with Skill 1. It would be a great addition to boss battles.

Signal

  • Fire
  • Submachine Gun
  • Signal is an asset in the late game but a liability in the early game.
  • Deals with a fair amount of DMG, and her burst also lowers the DEF of enemies. Her Passive ability reduces the DEF/ATK of enemies. Can act as a capable debuffer as well.

Guillotine

  • Electric
  • Submachine Gun
  • Guillotine starts off very strong, but as the game prolongs, she gets weaker.
  • Can only do substantial DMG if her HP is below a certain threshold, which is quite difficult to maintain. Her Passive improves upon her CRIT DMG, ATK, and CRIT rate.

Rapi

  • Fire
  • Assault Rifle
  • Rapi is not a useful early game, but you should see her in the late game.
  • She is agreat introduction to the team for beginners, as she has the best DPS on auto. She tends to do poorly in more difficult matches from her own taunt and low-base stats.

Maiden

  • Electric
  • Shotgun
  • Maiden can have your opponents in a chokehold, whether it is an early game or late.
  • Does best in PvP or Boss fights, and her strength lies in close-range DPS. Gives herself powerful buffs when threatened but starts taking DMG from her own taunt in some stages.

Julia

  • Iron
  • Assault Rifle
  • Julia’s powers are equally distributed throughout the game.
  • Her performance is great when she is placed in a team with Rupee and Privaty but becomes reliant on them, which makes her inflexible. Not bad in Boss battles, either.

Isabel

  • Electric
  • Shotgun
  • Isabel’s true power lies in the late game.
  • She is an absolute beast in long fights, especially boss fights, where she can stack her Skill 2. Also lowers full burst duration, decreasing CCR and allowing faster rotations. Despite all her greatness, she does not do too well in PvPs and PvEs.

D Tier

The only thing D-tier attackers will provide you with is a learning curve. You will learn how to win matches with bad attackers, so once you do get better ones, you will be better than the rest of the competition.

Belorta

  • Fire
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Belorta’s weakness lies in the early game but gets stronger in the late game.
  • Belorta is a powerful character for beginners and has one of the best SR DPS on manual. Her burst skill deals DMG on enemies and also boosts charging SPD for herself. Other than this, her Passive (1) increases the explosion radius. While her Passive (2) reduces the DEF of enemies and inflicts DMG.

Soline

  • Iron
  • Submachine Gun
  • Soline’s capabilities are as strong in the late game as they are in the early ones.
  • Soline is infamous for her aim reticle’s burst bug, which kills her own teammates.

Eunhwa

  • Electric
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Eunhwa might prove herself useful in the late game but is absolutely useless in the early game.
  • Eunhwa has strong ST defense down and gets buffs on the last hit. Unfortunately, defense down isn’t as valuable as ATK buffs. She does decent in boss fights and is average against other opponents. Her Passive abilities are not that impressive either.

F Tier

The F-tier attackers are the worst in the Nikke tier list. If you are forced to use them, your first priority must be getting better attackers to replace them.

Soldier EG

  • Electric
  • Assault Rifle
  • Soldier EG is weak early game and goes on to become even weaker in the late game.
  • Provides no real advantage to put on the team, as Privaty and Rapi are free and superior. Though, it can still be used until Privaty is unlocked.

Product 12

  • Fire
  • Machine Gun
  • Product 12 might prove herself in the late game.
  • Does a good job as a Missilis B3 until better ones are found.

Mihara

  • Water
  • Shotgun
  • Mihara is the weakest attacker in the early game but gains some power in the late game.
  • It can be difficult to use in a beginner team for newbies. She lowers the burst rate and falls off late due to low SR base stats.

Supporter’s Tier List

Supporters are essential to any team and, as the name suggests, support their allies while they are engaged in combat.  Although they aren’t great attackers, they offer great buffs and advantages which earn them a spot on the team.

S Tier

The highest spot on our Nikke tier list is the S tier; in it, we have placed the best supporters you can pick to make your ultimate team.

Liter

  • Iron
  • Submachine Gun
  • Liter’s supporting abilities remain as powerful as ever, both in the early and late games.
  • Liter proves herself useful in almost every situation because of her AR range, RoF, and astounding damage. Her burst skill will boost her allies’ ATK, while her regular skill deals great damage. With her reload speed buffs, she scales smoothly.

Noise

  • Electric
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Noise is a very strong early game and remains the same in the late game.
  • Noise is arguably the best tank in the game. She is an OP defensive unit as she heals her allies on burst and heals herself on hit. She also has the ability to taunt the enemy.

Pepper

  • Wind
  • Shotgun
  • Pepper is an asset in both early & late games.
  • Pepper proves her worth by healing the team by killing the enemy with an extremely high multiplier on her burst. She is an amazing unit to have in boss fights because of her weapon of choice and its strong burst. She heals stronger manually but can also perform amazingly with Privaty on automatic. Her active skill deals damage while her Passive skill heals her allies.

Rapunzel

  • Iron
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Rapunzel is amazing in both early and late games.
  • Rapunzel possesses a unique ability to resurrect a dead ally, making her a must-have support unit. She has good AOE damage, and her rate of healing is amazing. However, due to some due to technical issues, she sometimes resurrects an ally with zero health. Her active skill helps improves her allies’ max HP, and her passive skill recovers it.

Dolla

  • Wind
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Dolla proves her worth, whether it is an early game or late game.
  • Dolla proves her worth with her attack buff for her allies and her astounding CDR. Her Active skill boosts her allies’ ATK, and her Passive skill boosts both ATK and CRIT.

A Tier

A-tier supporters are second to best characters in the game; putting them in your team will definitely lead you to victory as you’ll have a great advantage over your opponents.

Emma

  • Fire
  • Machine Gun
  • Emma is very powerful in the early game but might disappoint later.
  • Other than healing, Emma does not have a lot of utilities. She specializes in PvP and PvE.

N102

  • Water
  • Rocket launcher
  • N102’s strength is not that much in the late game, but you should see her in the early game!
  • N102 performs in almost every team. She is exceptionally strong in PvP and can hold her own in PvE and Boss fights. Her skills increase her Ammo capacity, ATK, CRIT, and charge damage of her allies.

Admi

  • Wind
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Admi might disappoint you in the early game, but as the match goes further, you will see her true strength.
  • Admi has an exceptional reload speed buffer, and goes well with Alice and Scarlet, helping them achieve 100% reload speed. Her active skill reduces damage taken for the allies with the most ATK. She is amazing in PvE and Boss battles.

Soda

  • Fire
  • Minigun
  • Decent for both Early and Late games.
  • Soda has got enough abilities to fill up the spot for a Healing unit in the team. She has one of the highest HP stocks compared to everyone else and synergizes well with Privaty, thanks to the onboard stun effect. Emma and Pepper are better choices, though.

Biscuit

  • Electric
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Good for both the Early and End game.
  • The character has got super cool Cheat Death mechanics that will not only heal her teammate but also make the AOE Taunters come to some use in the Nikke Goddess of Victory PVE meta. Moreover, Biscuit can pull up impressive cover rebuilds and energy generations

B Tier

Even though they are not the best, units placed in the B tier are good and will grant useful buffs and boosts, without which winning may be difficult.

Quency

  • Electric
  • Submachine Gun
  • Quency is an astounding supporter to have in the early game as well as the late game.
  • Quency is capable of increasing the ATK of her allies, improving critical damage, and boosting max HP.

Exia

  • Electric
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Exia is great in the late game only.
  • Exia is an amazing replacement for Pepper. She works well with charge support and Privaty. She has skills that enable her to lower the DEF/ATK of her enemies.

Miranda

  • Fire
  • Submachine Gun
  • Miranda’s healing abilities remain awesome throughout the game.
  • Miranda is a decent supporter and is a good option to sub for Liter. She has good critical damage buffs and a strong attack.

Himeno

  • Wind
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Good for Early Games. Definitely not recommended otherwise
  • This support is good at what supporters are usually known for–buffing teammates and debuffing opponents. Meaning you will face a severe lack of versatility otherwise. Board her if you have Snow White or Alice’s team to see Himeno output to her fullest.

Cocoa

  • Fire
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Fine for specific times throughout the Early to Mid game period. Not too interesting for the Late game.
  • Cocoa is one of the few characters in Nikke Goddess of Victory that can eliminate debuffs from all teammates. The ability, however, works against a few bosses only, hence also defining the character’s low rank.

C Tier

C-tier supporters are average and are good substitutes for your team until you find better units that outperform them.

Yan

  • Fire
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Yan would be best used in the early game.
  • Yan has a decent charge buffer and possesses skills that can boost the ATK/CRIT of allies. Other than that, she can inflict DMG with regular and burst skills.

Mary

  • Water
  • Shotgun
  • Mary is strong early game, but not later.
  • She has nothing special other than her ability to heal allies and increase their DEF. However, there is a long cooldown for her burst skill that heals and increases DEF.

Miracle Fairy Anne

  • Wind
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Just like her name suggests, she will pull out a miracle in late-game.
  • Possesses the extremely special ability to revive and is also a really powerful attack buffer and healer. Even though she is good in short battles, her downside is that her cooldown takes an eternity, 60 seconds, which makes her ineffective in boss battles.

D Tier

These supporters lie at the very end of the Nikke tier list. Their buffs and boosts are not very useful, and you should find replacements for them as quickly as possible.

Neon

  • Fire
  • Shotgun
  • She is best used in early games.
  • Her niche skill with the shotgun is outclassed by N102, which defeats her purpose on the team. Does regular DMG and boosts CRIT of allies with skills.

Frima

  • Iron
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Frima is weak but even weaker in the late game.
  • She is not affected by the max HP bug, while her max HP buff is not valuable enough to be worth the slot. She also lacks other buffs like healing and boosting CRIT. Her advantage lies in breaking the DEF of the enemies.

Sakura

  • Fire
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Will struggle but still take you through Early Game. Not worth the investment in Late Game.
  • Sakura will chase Wind element bosses to death; however, that’s the only thing she can perhaps do. Anyways Sakura also dishes out some massive DEF improvements for all allies.

F Tier

Welcome to the tier list which has the worst supporting units in the game. The only real value they can provide is a steep learning curve on how to win matches without good buffs or boosts.

Mica

  • Wind
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Mica is decent in the early games.
  • Mica is severely outclassed by Anis and N102, she offers no advantage other than in Tetra Tower if you are in need of a B1. With mediocre stats, she performs well in PvP but poorly in other formats.

Product 08

  • Electric
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Product 08 is useless in the late game but might perform a bit better in early games.
  • Again N102 outperforms Product 08, rendering her basically useless.

Product 23

  • Wind
  • Shotgun
  • Product 23 is okay in early games, but it proceeds to become weaker as the game progresses.
  • Product 23 is a valuable asset for newbies as she can go up against bosses and has a surprisingly strong defense down in burst.

iDoll Sun

  • Iron
  • Assault Rifle
  • iDoll is useless, especially in the late games.
  • Does a good job as a Tetra B3 until you can find a better one.

iDoll Ocean

  • Water
  • Submachine Gun
  • She is only capable of using it in the early game.
  • A prized free healer for F2P players. Her downfall is her R stats.

Soldier OW

  • Fire
  • Submachine Gun
  • Soldier OW is the worst support unit in the late game.
  • It is not of any use, especially after she got nerfed by the developers, unless you do not have Neon for Elysion Tower.

Defender’s Tier List

Every team needs tanks. You can inflict damage on the enemies all you want, but if your units are vulnerable, you will not be able to win the match. Hence, defenders are essential to every team. Luckily for you, we have ranked each defender based on their strengths and weaknesses.

Nikke Goddess of Victory Defenders Tier List
Defenders Tier List
TierCharacter Name
SJackal, Centi
ALudmilla, Noah, Poli, Makima, Blanc
BSin, Yuni, Novel
CChristmas Rupee, Anis, Folkwang, Diesel
DEther, Delta, Crow
FSoldier FA, iDoll Flower

S Tier

The S-tier defenders are the best defenders in our Nikke tier list. They soak up more damage compared to any other unit and can help you win matches even if your attack power is weak.

Jackal

  • Electric
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Jackal’s tanking abilities never take a dive.
  • The newly introduced Jackal does well in PVP battles, and she is known as the post-apocalyptic Harley Quinn among the players.

Centi

  • Iron
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Centi is very powerful throughout the game.
  • As of right now, Centi is the best shielder in the game. She has a low cooldown and is extremely valuable in strong attacks. She has good defense debuffs and an astounding burst energy generation. Her burst reduces the DEF of enemies and deals damage.

A Tier

A-tier defenders are the second-best defenders in the game. Since there are only two S-tier defenders, A-tier defenders are an amazing choice. These units tank well and give great amounts of value to the team.

Ludmilla

  • Water
  • Submachine Gun
  • Ludmilla proves herself useful in the early games as well as the late games.
  • Ludmilla is not that strong against a group of enemies, but thanks to her damage taken reduction self-buff and attack down debuff, she handles boss fights very well. She can use taunts because of her passive skill. She can inflict damage and reduce the DEF of enemies using her burst.

Noah

  • Wind
  • Rocket Launcher
  • You can count on Noah throughout the game.
  • Noah is amazing at energy generation and OP in Arena. She has the ability to ignore team wipes attacks. Her passive skills give her penetration and boost CRIT. Burst deals damage and boosts ATK for herself.

Poli

  • Water
  • Shotgun
  • Poli can scare your opponents away in the early games and also late.
  • Poli is well-suited for close-range fights and has great buffs. She also possesses a strong shield and damage share.

Makima

  • Water
  • Submachine Gun
  • Paves players’ way well through every content (Early or Late).
  • Makima controls enemies with the Cheat Death mechanic pretty well. Having Makima on the team will buy the rest of the group some substantial damage-rendering windows. This taunter must be escorted by a healer every time, given her vulnerable health stats.

Blanc

  • Wind
  • Assault Rifle
  • Viable enough to solo steer players clear through the Early Game and with assistance through the late game.
  • Blanc puts an excellent playing kit at players’ disposal. From healing potential to damage, increasing party-wide debuffs, and added defense for all low HP Nikke allies with each burst, Blanc seems mighty for all competitions. Pairing Blanc with Noir-like units is recommended to fuel both of their kits.

B Tier

B-tier defenders are not bad at all. They might have some underlying weaknesses, but they still manage to tank well. Of course, they are nowhere close to S-tier defenders, but they seem to get the job done.

Sin

  • Electric
  • Assault Rifle
  • Sin proves herself useful in every situation.
  • Through her burst skill, Sin can increase damage on enemy tasks and taunt them.

Yuni

  • Fire
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Yuni is an awesome tank in the early game.
  • Yuni has above-average charge support, but Admi and Centi are better options. Her burst immobilizes enemies and deals damage. Her passive boosts max HP, restores HP, and increases charging speed.

Novel

  • Iron
  • Submachine Gun
  • Novel is THE tank to have in the late game.
  • Novel is a great defender and proves to be more useful if there are attack buffers on the team already. Her burst skill deals damage, and if fully stacked, enemies receive even more damage. Her active skill reduces enemies’ DEF and deals damage.

C Tier

Starting from this tier, the defenders take a huge dive. Their tanking abilities are not up to the mark, and they might cost you matches. They have an abysmal ranking in our Nikke tier list. They are good to practice with.

Christmas Rupee

  • Iron
  • Assault Rifle
  • Christmas Rupee’s strength remains amazing in the early game and late game.
  • Christmas Rupee has terrific reload and DEF support, as she provides a DEF boost and reloads buff. Unfortunately, she struggles to perform against waves and high-damage bosses. Other than that, there is a 1.5-second delay in her burst and the second B1, which makes her difficult to utilize in Arena.

Anis

  • Iron
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Anis is weak late game.
  • Anis performs her best in PvP battles but is decent in PvE and Boss fights too. Her Burst is superb, it inflicts DMG on enemies and reduces their DEF. Her downfall would be due to low base stats.

Folkwang

  • Water
  • Assault Rifle
  • Folkwang’s strength lies in the early game.
  • A capable healer and holds a fair ability to shield. Although her cooldown is quite high, her shield can block ally-aimed attacks such as Anis burst.

Diesel

  • Wind
  • Machine Gun
  • Diesel is okay in both the early & late games.
  • Her specialty is PvP but does reasonably well in other formats. Provides wonderful ammo buffs to herself and the team. Is quite a formidable opponent in the Arena due to her ability to heal upon taking DMG with the taunt on burst. But a weak taunter otherwise with low taunt duration.

D Tier

These defenders are borderline useless. They rank just above the worst defenders in the Nikke tier list. Their healing and tanking abilities are not much, and they do not add much value to your team. You should prioritize replacing them as fast as possible.

Ether

  • Electric
  • Shotgun
  • Ether is acceptable in the early game.
  • It is an average shielder and can be replaceable by any other stronger shielder but it is a great addition for beginners. Her burst has the ability to grant a shield to allies.

Delta

  • Wind
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Delta is useless in the early game but might get better later.
  • Delta can only taunt on the burst with a whopping 40-second cooldown. Her self-defense buffs are not impressive without a consistent taunt. Overall her stats are mediocre.

Crow

  • Fire
  • Submachine Gun
  • We recommend using Crow in late games only.
  • She is a subpar character who does not deserve a slot in the team because her lack of taunt makes her unable to perform as a tank, and her debuff is not that impressive either. Other than this, her Passive (2) boosts her DEF and deals DMG on enemies.

F Tier

These defenders rank worst in our Nikke tier list. The value of these defenders is close to nothing.

Soldier FA

  • Iron
  • Shotgun
  • Soldier FA is weak throughout but weaker in the late game.
  • Her only advantage is that she can heal herself fully with burst because of the max HP heal bug, but other than that, she does not fulfill any useful role in the team. Although, she can be used if you do not have enough units for Elysion Tower.

iDoll Flower

  • Wind
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Weak early game but makes up for it in the late game.
  • Can die pretty easily as she is an R taunter, but she is a good addition to the team if a free ATK debuffer is needed.
