Types Of Staffs

There are a total of 4 different types of staff in Warhammer 40k Darktide that appear in the shop between trust levels 5-18. These staffs are very versatile and can be used in many different situations, such as fighting hordes or strong elites.

Equinox Mk III Trauma Force Staff

The “Equinox Mk III Trauma Force Staff,” available at trust level 5, is one of the first staff that you can unlock and use. This staff allows one to charge an attack, placing a field on the ground. The entire area will explode, sending nearby mobs flying once you release the button after charging. The explosion staggers enemies and can also knock them to the ground. This staff possesses the following actions:

  • Primary Action Warp Shot: Projectile
  • Secondary Action: Warp Detonation
  • Special Action:  Strike

And the following traits:

  • Blazing Spirit: On a critical hit, enemies gain 1-2 stacks of “Soulblaze”.
  • Focused Channeling: Your secondary attack becomes uninterruptable.
  • Rending Shockwave:  Gain from 2-8 rending, scaling with your secondary attack’s charge time.
  • Run ‘N’ Gun: Allows you to attack the move.
  • Sustained Fire: in a Salvo, 5-15 percent damage increase on second and third shots
  • Terrifying Barrage: Enemies get suppressed within a 3-9m Radius at close range kill
  • Transfer Peril: on the weak spot hit, quell 4.5 percent of your Peril
  • Warp Flurry: Gain 4-10% charge rate on chained Secondary Attack. Stacks up to 5 times.
  • Warp Nexus: Raises your chance of getting a critical hit by 2-5 percent at a different level of Peril up to 4 stacks.

  • Primary Action: Warp Shot – Projectile
  • Secondary Action: Warp Detonation
  • Special Action: Strike

And the following traits:

  • Focused Channeling: Your secondary attack becomes uninterruptable.

Summary

Warhammer 40k Darktide is a first-person action game by Fatshark studio, which was released on 30th November-, 2022. It is a spiritual successor to the studio’s very own Warhammer: Vermintide, expanding upon the 4-man coop against hordes of AI-controlled monsters with exciting new gameplay additions, such as ranged combat, overhauled loot system, and a new variety of weapons.

A Staff’s mob-clearing potential is decent; however, they excel at great single-target damage. To compensate for this, their magic has a long cooldown, so their teammates must always protect them.

There you have it; these are the four staff types. With these staffs, you can unleash your inner mage, sow chaos, and tear your enemies limb from limb, leading yourself and your teammates to victory safely and with style.
